Villa Bichi Borghesi in Tuscany set the scene for this Italian garden styled photo shoot. From overgrown wisteria to garden-picked bouquets, every detail of the shoot portrays the incredible beauty of Italy. Two brides are shown wearing simple silk dresses that are perfect for the light and airy feel of the garden setting.
Here’s what photographer Rebecca Silenzi had to say about the inspiration behind the shoot:
The beautiful Italian garden is a perfect and idyllic spot for hosting an outdoor wedding reception in Tuscany during the spring surrounded by olive trees, majestic magnolias, roses and irises in the background. A few corners of the Villa that we have chosen as the backdrop for the style shoot are completely covered with wisteria. Our lovely bridal bouquet has been made using all the flowers we found in the garden — wild flowers, rosemary, artichokes, red salad, green hortensias all chosen to bring out the shades of marsala, carta da zucchero and green sage tones.
Natalia Sorokina-Music did the table settings using crystal glasses, silver carved cutlery, marsala and carta da zucchero decorative lace elements which goes so well with the bridal bouquet, adorned with rosemary, wild flowers, grapes and olive branches. We used the rustic table and a couple of antic garden side tables as a setting for the cake and the guests.
