Plan Your Italy Wedding: Vendors, Inspiration, & Expert Advice

Maurizio and Serena were recommended to us by a wedding planner based in Italy. After contacting them and browsing through their portfolio, we knew they were the photographers we had been looking for. From the beginning of planning, they were so quick to respond and even helped us to book a videographer. They met us in Florence a few months before our wedding to do an engagement shoot. They took us to so many beautiful spots around the city, being so creative with backgrounds and reflections. On the wedding day, they were so amazing to work with. They came early so they could get shots of our pool party and when the weather took an unfortunate turn, they were so quick to find the perfect moments to still get some amazing photos. They even stayed late since our timeline was pushed back because of the weather. They sent us a preview so quickly and sent us the whole album in less than a week. The photos are so beautiful, capturing raw emotion and the perfect candid moments. We are so happy to have found Maurizio and Serena and hope to be able to work with them again in the future for other special occasions!

Quando è stato il momento di scegliere il fotografo per il nostro matrimonio, non abbbiamo avuto dubbi che dovesse essere Edoardo. Lo seguiamo da tanto tempo ed il suo stile è veramente autentico; riesce davvero a cogliere il meglio di qualsiasi momento, i sorrisi, gli sguardi e le espressioni più vere e spontanee. Ci siamo sposati ad Asti, alla Cedrina, e credo che uno dei punti forti di Edoardo (che sono tanti), sia anche stato il meraviglioso rapporto che riesce a stabilire con tutti i fornitori, in una perfetta sinergia di tempi e movimenti; non ti accorgi neanche che lui è lì, finchè non vedi il meraviglioso risultato del suo lavoro (che tra l'altro viene consegnato entro un mese dal grande giorno!!). Non manca un momento e non manca un volto; da tutti gli invitati abbiamo ricevuto solo complimenti e sono stati tutti contentissimi di potersi portare a casa un ricordo immediato tramite il Take Away Print, in cui Edo è stato efficientissimo e non ha dimenticato nessuno. Il servizio di engagement di cui abbiamo usufruito è stato fondamentale per metterci a nostro agio davanti alla fotocamera in anticipo, e su consiglio di Edo abbiamo anche avuto accesso ad un bellissimo campo di girasoli al tramonto, di cui le bellissime foto hanno colto ogni sfumatura di colore. Diana’s work was the inspiration for my whole wedding really. I can across a single photo of hers before I had even picked a venue or set a date, so I had a year and a half to anticipate the incredible way she would capture our day. And wow, she was beyond what I expected. She was so helpful and made us feel so comfortable. We had a very small wedding with little decor, so I was nervous there wasn’t much to work with, but she was able to capture and find the beauty in every small detail. The final photos are something out of the dreamiest magazines and I’m so glad we have them to look back on. So many decisions are contemplated and made throughout the wedding planning process, but picking Diana was by far the easiest and best one we made!

Michele and I first learned about Giuseppe’s career as a photographer during the wedding of our friends (you can see their amazing photos on his profile). We had the most incredible experience working with Rossana and Tiziano from The Knot in Italy! From day one, we instantly clicked with Rossana. Giulia was an absolute godsend and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found her to design and coordinate our dream wedding in Tuscany. Not content with just the wedding day, we had Giulia's help with a welcome dinner and post-wedding pool party as well. All three days were executed to perfection and her creativity, guidance, support, and coordination were invaluable as we navigated planning a wedding in a different country while working very busy jobs. Her sense of style is exquisite, her recommendations for vendors were brilliant, her team exceptional, and she may be the most organised person I've ever met. What we valued most from Giulia - and I think what sets her apart - is that while she listened to and accommodated our every request, she would also challenge our ideas if they wouldn't work, and make suggestions or improvements that would work better. Some examples include accommodating guests who would not be used to the heat, and strategically suggesting less potent cocktails to start the day. These are things we hadn't considered but take someone with her depth and breadth of experience to mention. It had long been our dream to get married in Tuscany - something we had spent the endless lockdowns planning - and Giulia brought our dream to life. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend and we couldn't recommend her more highly. Our wedding was an absolute dream come true and I owe most of this all to Pia and her team at Olive in love! Getting married in Italy while living in the USA I was scared for all the planning and communication. But Pia made this the most stress free experience. As a type A person and stressed person I was so relaxed and calm planning my wedding. Pia was always thinking ahead and sent me option of vendors she had worked with before and trusted. This made me feel even better with no time to see anything ahead of the wedding. The day we arrived she was there waiting for us and walk us through everything. Our wedding was more perfect and beautiful than I ever could have dreamed of. Pia thought of all the details and work with all of the vendors for me. I would pick Olive in Love again and again to help me plan my wedding.

Silvia made our wedding day the most special day, more than we could have imagined! Coming all the way over from Australia to Italy for our wedding, we were so unsure about everything that needed to be organised. Silvia had everything sorted for us and provided so much support on the day to make everything so seamless. We had an unforgettable day and Silvia was key to making that happen for us.

Ben is the best! We just got married in Tuscany this past summer and Ben was the best support we could have asked for. He connected us with great vendors throughout our planning process and was quick to respond to our many requests (especially in comparison to most italian businesses that take weeks to reply). In the weeks directly ahead of the wedding as well as the wedding week itself, Ben was such a pro. He is so excellent with organizing vendors and arranging logistics, everything was so smooth. I can genuinely say that not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day, and I'm certain that's because Ben thought everything through so well that any type of issue was either expertly prevented, or solved before we could notice. His wife, Marisa was our florist and she was truly a 10/10. We went for a slightly unorthodox color scheme and table setting and she brought it all to life so perfectly. It was also such a helpful bit that they are husband and wife, as they were always in the loop / in conversation about updates and last minute changes which was so helpful. Thanks so much!

Thanks to Irene and Jo for the wonderful ceremony and excellent organization. It has been the most involving ceremony we ever assisted to, really moving and taylored for us, all the guests were impressed but most of all we were ! This will leave us a wonderful memory, each time we will look at our white and blue vase of the sand ritual! Thanks for making our wedding unique!
