We had always dreamed of planning a wedding on Seceda. In 2022, it was still very different from what it is today: much less known, completely open, with no fences, and with an incredibly wild and dramatic feeling. We still remember this young bride from New York. She was always smiling, and she loved Seceda just as much as we did, so we did not even need to suggest it to her. From the very beginning, she trusted us completely, and the whole planning process was happy, easy and incredibly smooth. One of the moments we will never forget was escorting her along the narrow mountain path toward the ceremony. The groom, the celebrant and the guests were already waiting for her, surrounded by the peaks. We had also arranged for a musician to play there, which made the moment even more emotional. The ceremony took place very close to the Seceda ridge, with the bride and groom, the celebrant and the musician framed by the dramatic drop and the mountains around them. It felt raw, intimate and almost unreal. We feel very lucky to have experienced Seceda in that way, at a time when such a ceremony was still possible. Today, the area is more regulated and that kind of setup can no longer be recreated in the same way, which makes the memory even more special to us.

We do not believe in putting on a “wedding planner mask.” We want our couples to know who we are, to see our real personalities and emotions, while always maintaining the professional standards and responsibility that this work requires. We do not sell packages. Every wedding is different, so our service is tailored around the couple, their priorities and the experience they want to create. We also believe that transparency has to be practical, not just something you say. Our agreements are detailed and designed to protect both parties. We care deeply about the professionals we work with, and we do not take commissions from our vendors. We want them to be fully satisfied with their work and with the fee they receive, rather than feeling that part of their compensation has been taken away. We believe that a vendor who feels respected and fairly compensated brings better energy, greater commitment and more enthusiasm to the wedding. In the Dolomites, knowledge of the territory is essential. We personally inspect the places we propose, including remote and wild locations, and we pay close attention to logistics, accessibility, weather, guest movements and all the details that can completely change how a mountain wedding works. We also spend a lot of time with our couples. We listen, we double-check, we solve problems, and when something really matters to them, our attitude is very simple: whatever it takes. We do this work with passion, but also with experience, local knowledge and a strong sense of responsibility toward both our couples and our vendors.

Although today our work has evolved toward a more refined and luxury event approach, in the beginning we were deeply attracted by wildness. We had grown up seeing a very traditional wedding culture, especially the aesthetic of the 1990s, where everything was often built around perfection, formality and a fairly standard idea of what a wedding should look like. We were looking for something with more freedom, personality and connection to the landscape. That is what drew us to the Dolomites. When we started focusing on this area around 2017, the Dolomites were not yet the internationally recognised wedding destination they are today. Choosing to specialise here required a lot of trust in our intuition, because the market was still very small and every enquiry felt like an opportunity not only to plan a wedding, but also to introduce this territory to couples from around the world. The beginning was not easy, but that is exactly what fascinated us: we believed in it before it became obvious. That experience has shaped the way we still approach this industry today. It does not really matter whether you are entering a crowded market or creating something in a very small niche. Of course, you need to understand marketing and study the market carefully, but once you recognize an idea that feels genuinely strong, you also need the courage to believe in it and keep building around it.
