With a charming venue and landscapes with breathtaking views, Kinga and Radu’s Transylvania wedding is one for the books! Kinga effortlesly trekked through the mountains in her Romana G. Urmanczy Couture gown while still looking beautiful for some incredible portraits. The entire day was emotional with a first look alternative, a touching ceremony, and a surprise fire show at the end of the night. Hand-in-hand, Kinga and Radu are smitten for each other and The Kitcheners were there photographing it every step of the way.
Kinga and Radu
Szekelyko Mansion, Coltesti, Romania
We exchanged gifts before the ceremony without being able to see each other. It was quite emotional! Kinga received a smoky topaz necklace in rose gold and a memories book with all our pictures from the past year, and Radu received a Dior perfume and a pair of Rayban sunglasses.
We chose our venue for a couple for reasons, one being that we’re both from different cities and the venue is right in between them. As well, I am also a wedding photographer and have always wanted to photograph a wedding there – so instead we ended up having our wedding there.
The ceremony was the most memorable and our favourite part of the day.
Having The Kitcheners shoot our big day was one of the best decisions we made. We felt so confortable in front of them!
The guys from the venue cooked Hungarian goulash outside at cauldron in front of everyone, and we ended the night with a surprise fire show.
