Following up on last week’s post about wedding dresses with floral embellishments, another bridal fashion trend that I’m loving from the Spring 2011 bridal runways is the use of tulle! Layers and layers of fluffy, floating, diaphanous, tulle! Whether as the skirt of a ballgown, a tiny decorative detail, or an overlay to an entire dress, there’s just nothing as sweet or romantic as this classically feminine fabric.

Tulle makes a fairy-tale come to life!
I love the short, strapless dress. Don’t have the courage to wear something so short, but I like it!
i am hypnotized by those reem acra’s. stunning!
hmm. I’m not usually a fan of tulle in wedding dresses, but some of these are GORGEOUS
I usually like one or two of the dresses in these posts but I adore all of these – feminine yet modern, they use tulle without going overly frothy.
These lovely gowns are a great options for lovers of tulle who don’t want a typical Cinderella ball gown!
