Bill and Zach wanted a romantically charged celebration centered (literally) around what matters most–their love. What better way to achieve this than by saying ‘I do’ in the center of the room, surrounded by their nearest and dearest? By opting for circle seating, they created a feeling of intimacy and closeness, which was the very essence of their dream celebration. And with the help of planner Dotting the i, they pulled off the ultimate lovefest with a one-of-a-kind ceremony, a vibrant dance floor, and a modern industrial venue.
Wanting a moody and dim-lit wedding space, The St. Vrain was an integral part of bringing their vision to life. Complete with exposed brick walls, wood ceiling trusses, and sparkling chandeliers, only minimal decor was needed beyond the existing features. To add an extra pop of personality, the couple used candles and rugs, which were later repurposed in their reception space. After their private vow reading and circular ceremony, the real party began when the guests hit the dance floor. The reception atmosphere was electric and, thanks to DJ TH Entertainment, was one of the most memorable parts of the night.
From the unique twist on traditional ceremony seating to the luscious floral installations by Emma Lea Floral, photographer Mat Schramm Photography captured every detail that challenges traditional wedding standards. And lucky for you, you have full access to all the unconventional inspo that’ll make the perfect addition to your wedding mood board.

Looking For A Sign To Have A Private Vow Reading? This Is It
Before the ceremony, we did a private vow reading. It was just us and our photographer. We were both nervous to honestly and openly express ourselves in front of a large crowd, so we had an intimate moment to share those feelings with each other. This experience allowed us to be more vulnerable, creating a memory that we’ll never forget.
A Candle Unity Ceremony Completed This St. Vrain Winter Wedding
We wanted the vibe of our St. Vrain winter wedding ceremony to be intimate and romantic. Candles, flowers, and loose greenery decorated the dimly lit space. A string quartet was playing some of our favorite classical and contemporary songs. And we kicked it all off with a candle unity ceremony where our guests were each given a candle. Next to us was a candle that represented our loved ones who couldn’t be with us. Using the flame of this candle, our parents lit theirs and began to pass the flame around the room until everyone’s candle was lit. Once surrounded by the love and light of our friends and family, we recited our vows and exchanged our rings.
A Dance Floor Guests Will Be Talking About This St. Vrain Winter Wedding Forever
From the moment the wedding DJ opened up the dance floor, it was PACKED! We had so much fun dancing with our family and friends the entire night. Even after the wedding, we heard from many of our guests that it was the best dance floor they have ever experienced at a wedding.
