This Washington Winery Wedding at JM Cellars is the Definition of Cool Elegance

September 1, 2019 | juliette

Who’s ready for some PNW wedding magic? Everyone? Great, because Cynthia and Ben’s gorgeous wedding at JM Cellars is giving us all the cool, boho, and elegant vibes! The couple and their planner from Bridal Bliss embraced the woodsy feeling of the winery venue and added a modern bohemian twist with macrame and pampas grass, acrylic signs, rose gold tableware, agate slices, and a custom neon pink sign. The result was beyond cool and elegant, and the photos Gina Paulson was able to capture of it all were, in a word, breathtaking! We’re so in love with the bride’s Pronovias, which looked stunning against the natural backdrop of the venue and surrounding area, and don’t even get us started on the couple’s fur babies who were a central part of the entire day!

The Couple:

Cynthia and Ben

The Wedding:

JM Cellars, Woodinville, Washington

The most important part for us was to make sure that everyone was going to have fun, that includes good music for dancing and lots of booze. As much as it was our special day, we also wanted our guests to enjoy every minute of it. I also wanted an amazing photographer to capture every moment of our wedding day. We prioritized photography first, then florists to create the look we wanted, and food and drinks.

The most memorable part of our day was our first look. All of our nerves were building up for our big day, and once we got to our first look photos and looking into each other’s eyes, all of a sudden we both felt a lot more calm. It was like nothing else mattered, and this moment made us feel secure and ready to start our wedding day.

We chose JM Cellars because we really wanted a small and intimate outdoorsy wedding with lots of greenery. We toured this venue during their open tours in the winter in the dark and we immediately fell in love with the venue. The venue offered a gorgeous loft for the bridal sweet, unlimited candles, twinkling lights. We also me the family and loved how friendly and helpful everyone was at the venue. Its also dog-friendly and we knew we wanted our dogs to walk down the aisle. The venue offered both indoor and outdoor accommodations, so if any weather changed we had a backup plan.

Set a budget and stay within your budget! It’s so easy to go outside of your budget but there are so many vendors out there that will do an amazing job, research everything. I highly recommend getting a wedding planner or at least a day-of coordinator to handle everything.

  1. Hi, I’m wondering if you know how they had the sign lit up on the macrame? Did it require a plug?

  2. Hi – that cake topper is amazing. Do you know the vendor?

  3. The dress is beautiful. I like the flower stamp in the stationary and the photo of the couple in the venue prior is a nice touch. Love that last photo spinning your girl like makes you feeling so in love.
