This Locally Sourced Dorset Wedding at Lulworth Castle is Like a Modern Storybook

August 31, 2018 | juliette

Louise and Ryan used every bit of their creativity and artistry in crafting the wedding of their dreams at Lulworth Castle in Dorset, England. With the help of their dear friends and wedding party, the couple made every detail, from the bell jars full of locally sources flowers to the hand-painted slate table names. Their vibe was eclectic and romantic in all the best ways, combining old-world elegance with modern design and finishing with whimsical, enchanted forest-inspired details. In keeping with the storybook feel of the day, Louise channeled classic-meets-modern princess vibes in a Maggie Sottero ballgown, bold pearl-studded hairpiece, bold makeup, and long veil. No detail was left untouched in this stunning and unique wedding, and Jess Soper Photography captured it all beautifully!

  1. Absolutely regal. The dramatic backdrop of the grand castle and beautiful decor is stunning, and the bridal gown, with lace sleeves, a full skirt, and an open back is just perfect for the venue.

  2. Brides dress was exquisite. Loved the brides transport vintage car.

  3. Thanks for a great article. You are always inspiring and encouraging with your ideas. I enjoyed this post and love these pictures.
