This Colorful Los Angeles Wedding at The Fig House is Filled with Mid-Century Vibes

Mary and Matt’s creative personalities were on full display in their Los Angeles wedding at The Fig House! The venue provided a classic mid-century modern design, featuring teal walls, copper-accented furniture, bold colors, and abstract art, all of which were ideal for this California duo and their wedding planner, Kayla Vie, to create a totally unique wedding experience. With some strategic sun-burst inspired floral arrangements and single-stem carnations hung from the ceiling, Honey & Poppies added an earthy element we don’t see in a lot of mid-century modern weddings. And, of course, the painted cake created by Scoota Baker was a piece of art all its own! Mary’s sequin Jenny Packham dress, custom nail art (which matched the florals and greenery), and bold makeup created a retro bridal look that matched the overall aesthetic perfectly and was the inspiration for a more formal wedding feel. The Gathering Season photography team nailed it in capturing every artsy detail of this colorful Los Angeles wedding.
