While in NYC for Bridal Market last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Seven. Designer of whimsical, sweet dresses that always make me weak in the knees, she was just as sweet herself! As I looked through the racks of flowy, shimmery gowns, Sarah told me “for fall 2013 we really went more in depth with the Sarah Seven look, we love all things romantic, whimsical, ethereal and we added a touch of cool ready to wear items. We added gowns that are closer to the body as well as one that is very full. Expanding on fabric choices we added a lot more lace as well as textured fabrics and different weights on silk chiffon.” I noticed a lot of gorgeous gold, silver, and grey in those expanded fabric selections, which were also carried over into the hairpieces and jewelry that she has in the collection.
