We’re Totally Blushing Over This Pink Valentine DTLA Wedding

January 2, 2020 | Junebug Weddings

What better way to celebrate your love than at a venue that has “valentine” in its name! We’re blushing over every detail of Grace and Jason’s pink Valentine DTLA wedding! Love Wildly Co. played off of the couple’s artistic and trendy vibes to create a unique theme that would feel exclusively “theirs” — so they decided on a modern, east-meets-west style for the day. We’re loving the non-traditional approach to using pink, including the dramatic bouquets designed by Jovial Floral Co. If you’ve been searching for just the perfect touch of pink inspiration, these photos by the talented Los Ebano are sure to drive you wild in the best way!

Wedding planning advice from the bride and groom: Include details that embody your relationship. It’s your time to celebrate everything that is fun and unique about your love! Don’t focus on what you think others might want.

We had about 8 months to plan the wedding and we both knew we wanted a venue where we could have both the ceremony and reception, fit 200 guests comfortably and most importantly allow us bring outside catering. We must have saw 12+ venues before we decided on the Valentine. It had everything we were looking for and more!

We wanted to play off of that retro, tropical vibe that the venue already had but add a more romantic, yet minimal, modern feel to the event.

I was definitely inspired by one of our favorite films “In the Mood for Love.” The beautifully subdued photography and saturated, rich, luxurious colors in the film was definitely the inspiration to the overall color pallet of deep reds, fuchsias, pinks and white.

This Christmas-Inspired Wedding at Holly Hedge Estate Will Get You in the Holiday Spirit

December 23, 2019 | Junebug Weddings

‘Tis the season! Carolyn and Calogero knew they wanted a Christmas-themed wedding, but were afraid of it being to “theme-y,” so they hired expert planner Shannon Wellington Weddings to create their most magical day at the Holly Hedge Estate! Nestled in beautiful New Hope, this venue fit every wish for a cozy, winter wedding vibe. With a December 22nd date, Christmas was right around the corner and the couple definitely wanted to hit that festive note! With their inspiration in mind, the talented team came together to design something that gave guests the ultimate yuletide cheer. Pine trees hung above the reception tables, along with an abundance of greenery, burgundy, and roses designed by Fresh Designs Florist. Dainty ornaments served as escort cards, which lit up on gorgeous pines complete with a quoted red sash. Grab your flannel PJs, hot cocoa, and favorite holiday tunes, and cozy up to these stunning photos by Oakwood Photo & Video!

The Couple:

Carolyn & Calogero

The Wedding:

Holly Hedge Estate, New Hope, Pennsylvania

We fell in love with Holly Hedge Estate as soon as we pulled up to the venue. The rustic stone barn, courtyard and estate are beautiful and paired perfectly with our Christmas themed wedding.

Both our wedding planner, Shannon Wellington, and our florist, Sue Davis of Fresh Designs Florist, were absolutely amazing to work with. Shannon and Sue took my vision and worked their magic to create a masterpiece. Hiring Shannon and Sue was the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. From the beginning they treated us like family and provided much needed support, guidance and recommendations.

We wanted our wedding to be rustic and elegant all while getting our guests in the Christmas spirit. We felt that the little details made our wedding and helped to tell our story as a couple.

After all the months of planning and dreaming about our big day, it was a magical moment to walk into our reception venue for the first time. It was everything we wished for and so much more!

Our wedding theme was chosen the day we selected our wedding date of December 22nd! We instantly decided on a Christmas inspired wedding. From Christmas music and red and green everything to Christmas trees at the entrance of our reception and a beautiful lit Christmas tree floral installation suspended over the dance floor; our wedding definitely put our guests in the Christmas spirit!
