I love the way each image is ultra-stylish, but the authentic personalities and chemistry of Hutchi and Ben still shine right through. Absolutely gorgeous, with nothing too staged or static. Meg went out and about with these two personal friends in their neighborhood of Los Feliz and Griffith Park in Los Angeles to capture these great images as a lead up to their June wedding, and we thing they all hit the modern-engagement-photo-shoot-nail square on the head!

A few weeks ago, the Junebug team was lucky enough to be invited to The Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club and Spa on the waterfront in Kirkland, WA for a celebration of their extensive wedding program, Woodmark Weddings. As we enjoyed an overnight stay, dinner and spa treatments (yes, we were pampered beyond belief!) we were so impressed by the hotel’s super friendly staff and their wonderful wedding offerings. We’ve been proud to promote The Woodmark Hotel for many years now as a member of our Plan Your Wedding Hotlist in Seattle, so getting to enjoy this amazing venue as guests was a luxurious experience indeed!
At the gorgeous cocktail hour reception we couldn’t resist snapping some photos of the beautiful spring table top designs on display for us – each table followed the same yellow and white color story but was totally unique in its design. It was such a fun chance to see how many different ways a table’s decor could be interpreted, even within the same aesthetic and feel. The next day these tables were used for catering tastings for Woodmark Weddings couples who will be tying the knot there in the coming year. What a treat! Each couple also goes home with a fabulous canvas tote bag from Hable Construction and a detailed planning binder for keeping track of all their wedding details along the way.
