We are so excited to introduce Millany Bridal Jewellery and Accessories, founded in 2013 by fashion aficionado Tamsin Ridgwell following her glamorous career of runway shows and campaign shoots with celebrities and even royalty seeking her fashion advice. Her luxury bridal accessories boutique includes designs from Jennifer Behr, Flo and Percy, Hermione Harbutt, Enchanted Atelier and Stephanie Browne. Tamsin says, “I founded Millany as an inspiring, luxurious and directional environment, aligned with a more contemporary bride’s style philosophy. I hope that the curated designs combined with the compelling contributions from some of the world’s most visionary style influencers, create an enhanced and original shopping experience.”

If that wasn’t enough, her fabulous website is chock-full of incredible fashion inspiration and advice from top style visionaries such as Brides Magazine‘s fashion director Rachel Leonard and James Bond Producer Barbara Broccoli. The Goals: We knew that we wanted the day to be all about celebrating with our family and friends. We have been dating for nine years and they have been a huge part of who we are as a couple, so our priorities centered around throwing a great party. We wanted the ceremony and reception to be romantic and meaningful, filled with small details of our relationship.

The Design: We wanted the atmosphere at our reception at The Powel Crosley Estate to feel like you were dining al fresco in an Italian vineyard. We served all of the food family-style, had Bocce playing on the lawn, strung up cafe lights and had the wine pouring! We had lanterns, potted herbs, cork place card holders and burlap runners dressing the tables. The Powel Crosley was my dream wedding venue and a lot of my inspiration came from its beautiful house and grounds. One of my bridesmaids even created a hand-sketched drawing of the house which became the main design on our invitations.

The Look: My wedding dress was much more than I ever thought I would have. I went in for a fitted gown and came out with a ball gown! But all my previous inspiration went out the window when this dress stole my heart with its pearl beaded bust and silk draping bottom. I felt incredibly glamorous! I love Kate Spade, so my bridesmaids surprised me the morning of the wedding with a pair of their mint colored heels with a gold bow! I loved that my bouquet was wrapped in a piece of my late-grandmother’s silk scarf which my cousins have started passing down for each of our wedding bouquets. My bridesmaids wore long navy dresses made by b2. They carried baby’s breath bouquets and my great grandmother’s Spanish fans.

The Moments: I think my favorite part of the day was reciting our vows during our ceremony. They were so romantic and personal and I could just feel this energy in the church. It was such a happy moment! There are a lot of things that stand out in my mind, but dancing into the night with our friends and family was so perfect and everything I wanted our wedding reception to be.

The Advice: If I was to give advice, I would say to focus on the things that are truly important to you. Don’t get caught up in the little details and focus on staying true to who you are as a couple. Oh, and that your mom is probably right about a lot of things!
