Oceanside Wedding in Nova Scotia

Romantic-Nova-Scotia-Wedding-12

Jennifer and Zlatko are a beautiful couple who fell in love with each other, and then their venue. We love when a wedding is styled to allow the venue to speak for itself, and the rustic-meets-modern aesthetic of Shobac Cottages is brilliantly showcased in Elegant Productions‘ styling of this oceanside wedding in Nova Scotia. Applehead Studio masterfully captured Jennifer and Zlatko’s day. The first look is one of our favorite moments (and Jennifer’s too!) because you can see the excitement bursting out of the couple as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. The romantic event was accented by rustic elements and literary details. We adore the idea of used books as wedding favors!

The Couple: Jennifer and Zlatko

The Wedding: Shobac Cottages, Nova Scotia, Canada

The Inspiration: “We used cues from the wedding venue itself. Kept it simple. Romantic, rustic and polished.

The Moments:Number one moment was our reveal, it was pure bliss, and really set the tone for the wedding. We were so happy and relaxed after that moment. Also, on our wedding day it was raining and foggy in the morning, of course we were nervous because we wanted our ceremony outside on the edge of the ocean. We were talking about back up plans to have the ceremony inside, then our photographer showed up with a little weather app on his phone and explained and promised the weather would be perfect. And he was right! The blue skies and sun came out as we said our vows. A second cousin of the bride was our ceremonial officiant, so to repeat the words after someone we trust and love meant the world to us. That moment couldn’t have been any better!

The Couple Recommends:Our photographers, were outstanding. They were both professional, fun, easy to be around, and I think the big thing is they really just get it. So happy we had them. Liam and Steph stayed until the party was over, not all wedding photographers do that! They crave all the moments, hunt for them and catch them. The food was incredible, and the service was wonderful.

Chic and Modern San Francisco Engagement Session

November 19, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

chic New York engagement

Candice and Anthony’s San Francisco engagement session perfectly captures the sense of a day in the life of the couple making their way through the city. Photographer David Tosti of Samuel Lippke Studios captured every moment, as they hopped on a trolley, enjoyed each other’s company on park benches and in cafes, and ended the night romantically by overlooking the lights of the Golden Gate Bridge. We love Candice’s chic engagement style, which is so impeccably San Francisco. You can just tell that Anthony is so incredibly in love with Candice, and they appear so natural and relaxed throughout their session. This is definitely a sign of a great connection with their photographer!

Cozy Bridal Bolero Inspiration

November 19, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

The temperatures might be dropping as we move from fall to winter, but your bridal style shouldn’t be left out in the cold! Our cozy bridal bolero inspiration will keep you warm and chic for your winter wedding, whether it’s on the beach, in the mountains, or in the big city.

We love Bridget’s vintage bridal style, and the warmth the full-coverage of her fur bolero for her cozy and nostalgic winter wedding.

To avoid getting too chilly in the cool ocean air of your beach wedding, choose a shoulder-baring fur stole like Gina’s at her casual coastal wedding in Sea Ranch, California.

Nicola’s elegant winter white fur bolero perfectly complemented the soft snow during her winter wedding in New York.

Sarah’s metallic sequin shrug sparkled beautifully during her majestic Icelandic elopement. We love the contrast of the glamour against the mountains.

For Nicky’s adventurous New Zealand helicopter wedding, she opted for an elegant fur bolero with a hood to keep her hair perfectly in place.

We love Brenna’s unique layering of the fur stole over her sequin cardigan, which was the perfect styling choice for her rustic mountain wedding.
