On a small island in the Baltic Sea, Anna-Lena and Mattias exchanged vows in an intimate church ceremony before heading out to the rocky shore for one of the most stunning portrait sessions we’ve seen to date. The bride carried a bouquet of flowers she arranged herself, providing a pop of delightful color against her delicate Ida Lanto gown. Sara Norrehed Photography exquisitely captured the quiet excitement and the breezy seaside beauty of the island wedding.

When Marie and Jens decided to celebrate their anniversary with a photo session, they knew their photographer would need a certain skill set for the occasion. Of course the photographer should be a master at capturing light and those candid intimate moments, but they also need to have the keen ability to hold the attention of the couple’s two pups Missy and Oscar. Marianne Taylor Photography stepped up to the challenge and snapped the loveliest portraits of Marie and Jens and their fluffy pets in the streets of London.
With romantically personal touches and rustic natural elements abound, Adrienne and Trey’s Sukkot wedding was a perfectly bohemian affair. The intimate celebration took place at Sage Hill In Above Onion Creek in the Texas Hill Country where flowers arranged by Bricolage Curated Florals beautifully complemented the wild and wooded landscape. Photographer Geoff Duncan masterfully captured the stunning decor designed by Bird Dog Weddings and the sweet moments shared between the newlyweds.
We knew we wanted an intimate wedding, where nature would be the most beautiful backdrop. The modern rustic inn where we were married and stayed with most of the guests for the weekend set the tone for a retreat wedding weekend, soaking up the landscape of the Texas Hill Country. Our wedding fell during the Jewish harvest festival called Sukkot, when temporary structures are built out of natural materials as gathering spaces during the holiday week. Trey designed and built a sukkah from local cedar posts and decking, and I styled it with some of our own belongings and vintage rentals. So that added another layer of inspiration, as a very cool intersection between our shared appreciation of the built environment and the natural. For the overall style, I was drawn to rich fall colors, lush foliage, and romantic decor with natural and bohemian textures. Our clothing choices reflected this too. If it makes sense, we felt the theme of our wedding was kind of just ‘us’. Everyone kept saying how the wedding felt like such a reflection of who we are and that made us even more happy.
The Moments:
There were a lot of favorite moments! Lots of laughter with friends and family that I’ll always remember. I think the most special moment though, was seeing the expression on Trey‘s face as I walked towards him down the path to our ceremony site, and then holding hands and looking into each others’ eyes as the ceremony began, with our dear ones standing around us under the oak trees. That was such a beautiful feeling.
The Couple Recommends:
Geoff is an incredible photographer and all-around fantastic person to work with. He is exceptionally talented and he captured our wedding day so beautifully as our happiest story. We had so much fun getting to know him and becoming friends.
