Pastel Vintage Boudoir Session

May 27, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Pastel-Vintage-Boudoir-Session-Gabe-McClintock (2 of 21)

Dark curls, pink lips, and lovely lingerie are just the beginning of this vintage boudoir session. Extraordinary creatives Gabe McClintock Photography and Justine Celina Maguire teamed up to create a session that is simultaneously sensual and stylish while also being naturally beautiful. The use of soft light and pastel pieces of lingerie make for an irresistibly romantic scene!

Here’s a little insight about this shoot from stylist and creative director Justine Celina Maguire:

Our vision for this shoot was to create images that were ethereal, feminine and raw. I curated a wardrobe of vintage lingerie in soft, summer-inspired pastel hues with romantic lace accents and whimsical details. The shoot took place in a character home with huge windows; the space was staged to maximize the beautiful natural light and create a serene backdrop. Vintage furniture was juxtaposed with modern touches and crisp white linens to keep the overall look pretty and fresh.

Fun Outdoor Wedding at Camp Angelos

May 27, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Portland-Wedding-Photographer-Jupiter-Hotel-JOS-studios-30

Amber and Brian’s Oregon summer wedding was full of gorgeous golden light, an incredible forest setting, and whimsical details by Luxe Event Productions. The couple felt so overwhelmed with love after exchanging their vows that they jumped into the nearby river — is there anything more romantic? JOS studios brilliantly captured all of the exciting and precious moments that made Amber and Brian’s Camp Angelos wedding so unique!

The Couple:

Amber and Brian

The Wedding:

Camp Angelos, Corbett, Oregon

The Inspiration:

I had a tough time narrowing down a theme! Our theme ended up being more of a scheme. We plan to move back west in the next couple of years and want nothing more than our east coast friends to follow. Our theme was showcasing the spectacular Oregon Summer; a muted color palette to let the outdoors shine, fresh berries, pine, beeswax, wild flowers.

The Moments:

My favorite moment was directly after the ceremony. We had so many feelings, so much energy we didn’t know what to do with ourselves. So we walked straight to the river and got in! Our parents and our wedding party followed and we just laughed and kicked around in the water.

The Couple Recommends:

Brett at Simpatica was so easy going and helpful. He let me change the menu a hundred times and was always gracious about it. Jos and Tree are of course amazing. They were with us from early in the day until wee hours of the night and always had so much energy and put our people at ease. Kait McNally was another one that held my hand through the whole thing. Giving advice, easy to work with, happy to make changes when I requested.

Untraditional and Intimate Bruny Island Wedding

May 26, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Untraditional-Intimate-Bruny-Island-Wedding-Eric-Ronald (19 of 36)

A patterned maxi dress is a showstopping fashion choice for a wedding, but nothing could have distracted from Sally and Tim’s love during their positively romantic intimate celebration on Bruny Island. The couple were surrounded by their closest loved ones as they said “I do” in a waterfront ceremony with the Pacific Ocean rolling in at their feet. The reception was held at the groom’s family’s home, which made for truly sentimental moments the couple will cherish forever thanks to the brilliant photography of Eric Ronald.

The Couple:

Sally and Tim

The Wedding:

Private Residence, Bruny Island, Tasmania

The Inspiration:

As we were getting married on Tim‘s family’s stunning property on Bruny Island, we felt like we didn’t need to add too much. The surroundings are so naturally beautiful and the whole feeling about the place is calm and tranquil. We didn’t feel the need to interfere too much with what was already there. Tim‘s family already have a beautifully decorated home and we really wanted the day to reflect that comfort and homeliness. As for fashion: fun, colourful and not too formal!

The Moments:

So many! The ceremony was magical, we couldn’t believe it. The weather was perfect for us that day, and it was completely still on the water. That was really special as the particular spot meant so much to us as we have spent a lot of time there over the years. We were also only surrounded by our closest family and friends so that added to the magic. Also, the dancing!

The Couple Recommends:

Eric was absolutely amazing! I knew even before we saw his photos that they would be wonderful. He is such a talented photographer who is so passionate about his work. Plus he’s just an awesome guy to hang out with on our wedding day!

The Wedding Team:

Photography – Eric Ronald
Venue – Private Residence
Floral Design – Lisa Kingston Flowers
Wedding Dress – Mister Zimi
Groom’s Apparel – ASOS

Congrats to Sally and Tim on their wedding at Bruny Island and thanks to Eric Ronald for sharing their amazing day! For more nontraditional wedding fashion, be sure to check out Carine and Chris’ geometric inspired Irish wedding.
