Orange and Cranberry Wedding at South 40

July 8, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Orange-Cranberry-Wedding-South-40-Glasser-Images (11 of 24)

Beneath strings of twinkling lights in the South 40 barn, Hope and Cameron exchanged vows and enjoyed their first kiss as husband and wife. Their cozy cranberry and orange color palette is perfectly fall and mimics the natural beauty of the Midwest. Glasser Images captured the immense beauty of the surrounding landscape, the DIY details, and the pure joy Hope and Cameron share when they’re together.

The Couple:

Hope and Cameron

The Wedding:

South 40, Bismark, North Dakota

The Inspiration:

Comfortable and romantic. We wanted to throw a big party with our friends to celebrate our love. The South 40 Barn was a beautiful place to welcome our family and friends. Strings of lights and candles delicately light up the barn. The dessert table was stacked with our family recipes. Accents of cranberry, apricot and cream warmed up one of the last fall days in the upper Midwest. The bridesmaids chose their own dresses, our ceremony was brief but heartfelt, and the photography blended in like a friend in the crowd. The whole place felt alive. Warm and welcoming was what we wanted- the way our love began.

The Moments:

We snuck away for a few minutes from the crowd of guests to light some sparklers. Our groomsmen and bridesmaids helped us. And as much as I didn’t want to leave everyone, I took a deep breath out there in the twilight and felt the gravity of that exact moment. I had just married my soulmate and life felt so comforting. It sunk in there, between the laughter and dancing and singing. There wasn’t any excuse to stop kissing him.

The Couple Recommends:

We can’t thank Quinn and Heidi from Glasser Images enough for capturing not just pictures, but the emotions of the day. Our photographers made us feel comfortable with them. They had beautiful, creative ideas. I would book them for anything and everything.

Kelsey at Crabapple Floral has the most breathtaking taste in floral arrangements. I trust her completely. She’s also so kind and helpful through the entire process of planning. I loved our flowers so much I wanted to keep them forever.

The Wedding Team:

Photography – Glasser Images
Venue – South 40
Floral Design – Crabapple Floral
Cake – JJ’s Cakery
Wedding Dress – Posh Bridal

We love that Hope and Cameron snuck away from their reception to light a few sparklers alone before joining their guests for a stellar send-off! For more of Glasser Images‘ exceptional storytelling, be sure to check out Megan and Nolan’s lace and burlap wedding in North Dakota.

Modern German Wedding at E210 Eventhangar + Film

July 8, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Isabelle_Marcus_Junebug_juliangros-09

Deep in the south of Germany, a retired airplane hangar has become the coolest venue around. Isabelle and Marcus fell in love with E210 Eventhangar as much for its modern take on an event space as for its surrounding forests. Loud Cinematography tells the story of Isabelle and Marcus’ day in a film that brilliantly captures the brimming excitement the couple felt leading up to saying “I do” and the bursting love they share for one another.

The Couple:

Isabelle and Marcus

The Wedding:

E210 Eventhangar, Baden, Germany

The Inspiration:

On the one hand we wanted to keep it classical and modern. We chose the location because of it unique style. We did not want to go for a castle or palace or something like that. We wanted round tables to keep the discussions going and good music to let the people dance and enjoy that wonderful day. Our wedding took place in an awesome venue, E210, which we chose because of the surrounding woods. We had a perfect place for the photo shoot and it was situated out of a residential area so we could party loud and hard. Our wedding was perfectly organized by the wonderful wedding planner Agnetha.

The Moments:

Walking down the aisle with my dad and meeting my husband at the altar was an incredibly emotional and unforgettable moment. Besides that our singer in church, Isabella Scoro, performing Leona Lewis’ “A Moment Like This’’ was so breathtaking.

I can’t forget the moment when Marcus told our guests as part of his dinner speech that we are expecting a baby!

The Couple Recommends:

Thrilled with the wedding film and the picture as these are the things that remain forever and for us are some kind of a family heritage. For all bridal couples out there: don’t skimp on that!!!

The Wedding Team:

Videography – Loud Cinematography
Photography – Julian Gros
Event Planning – Agnetha Traumhochzeit
Venue – E210
Cake – Kaffe König
DJ – Max Müssle

A special thanks to Loud Cinematography and Julian Gros for sharing Isabelle and Marcus’ beautifully modern wedding with Junebug! For more unique wedding venue inspiration, check out Amanda and Josh’s quirky cool Bronx Zoo wedding.

The Moments:

I have two particular moments in my heart: when we exchanged rings and we thought now means that we are one; when I dance with my dad hugging me and crying.

The Couple Recommends:

There are two professionals in particular who made that day memorable. First, our wedding planner and floral designer Camilla, who turned our vision into reality. She is highly professional, young, and is full of dynamic and interesting ideas. Secondly, Elisa the photographer which managed discreetly, not intrusive to capture the best moments.

Ceremony Venue – Chiesa S. Pietro Cherasco
Reception Venue – Fontanafredda
