A spring color palette, handcrafted origami, and an outdoor ceremony at Liberty House Restaurant overlooking the Manhattan skyline are just a few of the elements that made Jennifer and Cameron’s wedding unforgettable. Luckily, Daniel Moyer Photography was there to capture it all. The couple shared a first look with shimmering skyscrapers in the distance before heading to the 9/11 Memorial for an artistic wedding portrait session.

From the Couple: One of the best feelings you can experience during your wedding planning is trust in your vendors. From day one of working with Dan Moyer, our fantastic photographer, I knew that we could trust him to capture the scope of our day, as well as the small, in-between moments that will continue to resonate with us in the decades to come while flipping through our wedding images. Dan brings a contagious enthusiasm and a remarkable photographic vision. We would recommend him in a heartbeat.
The Inspiration: We wanted to go for simple elegance, with a touch of Asian themes as a nod to my heritage. With an outdoor garden ceremony and with spring in full swing by the point, we wanted our color scheme to be celebratory, seasonal, and in tune with the rest of our surroundings. We opted for rich yellows and greens, with a touch of blush. For a lovely pop of my favorite color, my bridesmaids donned gorgeous horizon blue gowns. Trees with orchids as centerpieces continued the vibrant “life” theme from the garden, while hanging Chinese lanterns and origami table cards rounded out the Asian touch.
From the Bride: My favorite moment of the wedding was following the toasts, when the dance music really kicked in and our family and friends hit the dance floor. After all the excitement and stress of the planning that went into our day, Cam and I were ready to let loose to the whole list of our favorite songs.
