Palm Springs wedding inspiration always evokes a mix of Old Hollywood glam and cutting edge trendiness, and this a&bé bridal shop styled shoot is no exception! Whitewashed retro architecture, bold makeup, and effortlessly cool bridal gowns embody those timeless-yet-modern desert oasis vibes we just can’t get enough of. Lauren Apel Photography captured these delicately beaded and lovingly laced styles with an incredible Palm Springs chicness.
This fairy tale cabin wedding is so enchanting, even the Grimm Brothers would have to agree! Guests were transported into Tana and Cody’s real-life fantasy when they arrived at Tana’s family’s cabin in the woods of Northern Michigan for the couple’s special day. Every corner of Tana and Cody’s wedding was decked out in stunning DIY details like floral terrarium centerpieces, a cascading wall of books, and vintage-styled vignettes. We love how Chelsea Seekell Photography captured the whole day through a fairy tale lens with totally dreamy lighting, tons of romance, and even a happily ever after!

The most important part of planning our wedding was creating a celebration of love that really embraced who we are as a couple. We wanted our special day to be intimate, fun, and straight out of a fairytale!
We knew we wanted a fairytale wedding in the woods so we decided to have it at my family’s cabin in the woods in northern Michigan. Unfortunately, the cabin burned down right after we had decided to get married there. Everything was destroyed and we were heartbroken. Luckily, our amazing friends and family joined us and we spent the next year rebuilding everything from scratch. It took serious hard work and dedication but it turned out better than we could have ever imagined.
There were so many wonderful moments throughout our day but both of us agree that our first look was our favorite. Seeing each other for the first time privately in the middle of the woods before our ceremony, we were so excited and as soon as we saw each other we couldn’t help but cry tears of happiness, it was perfect.
For our ceremony, my grandpa got ordained and married us. It was so much more special having a family member marry us rather than someone we hardly knew. Also, our dogs were our flower girls.
Basically everything was DIY or vintage. We made table runners out of book pages and centerpieces with flowers and succulents. We also made a backdrop for photos out of old books, which was one of my favorite DIY projects.
We dare you not to tear up from this beautiful Idaho proposal! When Jason was picking the perfect spot to propose to Audrey, the natural choice was Higgins Point because they had their first date there. We can’t think of anything more romantic than this forested site surrounded by a cluster of trees that overlooks Lake Coeur d’Alene, let alone the small table Jason set up with champagne, a candle, and lush greenery. Through Stories captured Audrey’s surprise with stunning photographs while Allred & Company documented the day in a gorgeous short film so the couple can relive this special day for years to come.
