The moody color palette in this wedding inspiration shoot is the perfect transition from the lush reds and oranges of fall to the dark blues and grays of winter. Calyx Floral Design created two different bouquets to reflect these dramatic color changes: one had primarily light pink roses with pops of bright red and teal; the other was more dramatic with black, sage green, and dark brown fillers. We absolutely love the bold, dark hues Zebo Makeup used for the bridal look, especially paired with this elegant Novia Mia ballgown. The Sugar by Tracy cake is visually captivating with all-black fondant and brilliant pink flowers. From the photographer: The focus of this shoot was to create a rich palette of color that would compliment the bareness of the late autumn hillside we chose as our location. Stepping out of summer, we wanted to mimic the earthy tones that so many brides may overlook for their own weddings by using darker makeup, looser hair, and deep florals.
