When searching for an outdoor wedding venue with gorgeous grounds for their destination wedding, Amy and Taylor fell in love with La Posada de Santa Fe. A special city for the couple, the look and feel of the New Mexican capital was essential to their laid-back theme. Natural yet modern with a hint of bohemian chic, this well-curated wedding relied on the help of a few ‘friendors’ to become a reality and was planned around the availability of their most-trusted vendors. Viva Flora created gorgeous southwestern inspired arrangements of cacti, succulents, and lush garlands peppered with a mix of pink roses and grassy blooms. We love the beautiful brides’ corresponding lace wedding gowns: Amy in Monique Lhuillier with a stunning full-length train and Taylor in a two-piece long sleeve bridal crop top by Theia, both wearing only minimal, sentimental jewelry and accessories. A Fist Full of Bolts captured this truly beautiful couple showing their personalities at their small and intimate celebration of their love.

We literally planned our wedding date around our makeup/hair guru, videographer andphotographer. Our wedding would NOT have been the same without them. Every detail was perfect.

We wanted our wedding to feel small and intimate…like the best dinner party we’d ever been to.

It was important for the feel and look to fit in with Santa Fe so it felt natural, yet modern. We just went with our normal vibe. Laid back but well curated. 

Our planner, Zac Campbell, did the majority of the work. We couldn’t have done it without him. During the process, we just kept reminding one another that the most important thing was us. The wedding was the best party we’ve ever thrown but the best advice is to keep it about you.

Santa Fe is a special place for both of us. We ended up choosing La Posada because we wanted to spend as much time outside as possible and the grounds there are stunning.

Amy‘s dad made the most perfect andheartfelt speech during dinner. We sat there, surrounded by our people and felt overwhelmed by love and support. It was quite literally the best moment of our lives.
