When Pantone announced Rose Quartz and Serenity as the colors of the year, we knew we were in for a year of beautiful pastel weddings. This Rose Quartz and Serenity inspiration shoot shows exactly how to incorporate these shades into your big day in a modern way. From Brittani Elizabeth Photography: In an effort to demonstrate how these colors can be so beautiful in so many different settings, we chose Front and Palmer for our venue — an antique, industrial venue in Philadelphia, formerly an old barrel factory! The romantic chandelier lighting along with the rich texture of the floors and exposed walls made for a more serious and romantic take on these light and airy colors!

We loved incorporating elements of white marble for a slightly textured but clean slate to really bring out the natural beauty of the two colors. All of the vendor contributions from the five-tiered, partially-naked drip cake to the lush whimsically gathered florals to the perfectly toned jewels and dresses captured the essence of our vision so perfectly.

The bride’s dress is a classic A-line silhouette, but the rosettes make it updated and new. We loved how adding a patterned texture contributed the perfect amount of “different” to an otherwise classic dress. We kept it simple with an always romantic pearl necklace and birdcage veil, bringing in touches of vintage that can so easily be done by brides and their own personal family heirlooms. Her makeup is a fresh mix of pale pinks and a dramatic, smokey eye, her hair is perfectly “un-done.”
