Edgy High-Fashion Wedding Inspiration at Great Salt Plains State Park

November 6, 2017 | colleen

Wanting to create and showcase something a little unexpected from the typical rustic style found in Oklahoma, Rachel Photographs and Forever Cole Events dreamed up this edgy and modern wedding inspiration shoot. With the Great Salt Plains State Park’s vastness surrounding them, it provided the perfect blank slate to bring all the details and creativity to life. Staying true to desert vibes, air plants and cactus from the Plant Shoppe are used in the bridal bouquet and tablescape. We are obsessed with Kris’ untraditional and modern Micah Hamilton boutonniere, and Jessi’s champagne colored Prescott Bridal gown. Both look casually cool throughout the day and rock their look with sunglasses and a leather jacket. Rachel Photographs‘s unique use of composition and light is the perfect pairing for this styled shoot.

  1. Damn photogenic couple, look like made for each other too! The shots are insanely edgy and sharp, loved the use of high exposure to make the couple stand out! The floral design and the wedding attire are pitch perfect! Would love to show this to my friends and family…

  2. how much more creative can people be?! So much inspiration here!

  3. I really love this photo shoot and the cool toned photography with the strong black contrast. I like the originality of the bouquet although I do find it rather prickerly. This may even be a slightly dangerous bouquet ;). I’ll stick with flowers, although if the roses have thorns..

  4. I love the colors. And I love the dress…it’s between a pale blush and champagne color. I wish the exact dress name was listed.
