alternative and eco-friendly wedding and engagement rings made from recycled materials by Bario-Neal

While recently learning about Bario-Neal Jewelry, the Philadelphia based handcrafted jewelry designers and one of our new Real Weddings sponsors, I was totally taken with both their wedding ring designs and their approach to jewelry making. I love the organic simplicity of these rings and how they show off the natural beauty of the metals and stones, and I’m simply amazed that every bit of precious metal they use is reclaimed, and every stone they use is ethically sourced, conflict-free or recycled from other pieces. Designer and co-owner Page Neal told me about what fun it is to work with clients to custom design wedding rings made from old family pieces, meaningful collections and even sentimental found objects. Check out this story from one of their clients…

“Our wedding bands were incredibly complicated. We wanted custom rings made out of a stone we had found on the road in Spain that we couldn’t identify but was important to us. The stone turned out to be an industrial bi-product that was extremely hard and difficult to work with. After numerous attempts and working on the project for many weeks, Page came up with a design that could incorporate the stone. The result is amazing. She was as dedicated to our bands as she is an impressive talent.”

Love that! Check out their website to learn more about their jewelry, and their dedication to ethically sound jewelry design practices.
