Lauren and Jason’s classic ballroom wedding at The Room on Main couldn’t have been more chic with its subtle 1940s styling and the bride’s stunning and unique Nicole Miller bow gown. Guests enjoyed reception seating as they watched Lauren and Jason exchange vows before everyone danced the night away to Mistral Band, a terrific big band that kept the dance floor grooving. Shaun Menary Photography beautifully captured the entire affair, including some of our favorite moments of Lauren and Jason sharing a few intimate minutes together before and after the ceremony.
Lauren and Jason
The Room on Main, Dallas, Texas
Classic and simple.
Lauren‘s favorite moment (and Jason‘s least favorite) was the moment right after the couple was pronounced man and wife. They had planned to make a quick recessional to the back room at the Room on Main, but as they were making their way there, Lauren decided it was too short. So, she lead Jason around both sides of the room, making their way to every table, to make sure the big band could finish their song before they exited the room. Jason was mortified!
The Couple Recommends:
The band, Mistral, was amazing. Sammy Davenport, who is the leader of the band, organized a Big Band to play before the ceremony and during dinner, and it set a magical, elegant tone for the evening. It made everyone feel like they were transported back to the ’40s.
The Wedding Team:
