Callie and Adam’s downtown wedding at The Bride and The Bauer perfectly combined bohemian vibes with a wintry color palette! The planning and floral team at Hitched Planning + Floral used tons of dark greenery, gold accents, and subtle pops of red and pink to dress up the industrial-chic venue without taking away its inherent charm. With the wedding party’s classic champagne, ivory, and black attire, the overall feel of this wedding with luxurious without being too formal, and earthy without losing the air of elegance. The Bold Americana did a phenomenal job capturing that balance and making us feel like we were right there with this beautiful couple as they stepped into their forever!

We’ve always tried to keep our relationship simple and fun. We knew we wanted that same type of atmosphere for our wedding as well. Having all of our closest friends and family present and knowing that they would be a part of our day full of love, happiness, and laughter was most important to us.

Our photographer, Emma, was so easy and fun to work with! She has such a great personality and knows how to really connect with others. Sometimes it can be hard to work with a large bridal party to get the right types of shots but she really knew how to make everyone feel comfortable and make us all laugh, which made our photos even more genuine. She has an eye for capturing authentic moments. She literally captured every laugh and every tear perfectly. I still get goosebumps when I look at our wedding album. 

Make your wedding exactly how you want it to be. Try not to get caught up in everyone else’s opinions of what they think your special day should be like. Your wedding is about you and your partner’s love for one another and so it should be unique to who you are as a couple.
