Planning a destination wedding from afar could have easily felt overwhelming, but Lucy made the entire process feel seamless, organized, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. From the very beginning, her communication was incredible — responsive, thoughtful, and always reassuring. She guided us through every detail, ensured we stayed on track using her checklist, and helped coordinate the most amazing vendors. Even on our wedding day, Lucy and her team handled an enormous challenge — a local power outage — with immediate solutions to ensure everything still went perfectly. What surprised us most was how personally invested she became in making our wedding feel like us. Every detail felt intentional, elevated, and beautifully executed. Seeing everything come together throughout our wedding weekend honestly exceeded anything we could have imagined. It was the perfect balance of luxury, fun, warmth, and effortless flow. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the entire weekend was, and we truly could not have done it without Lucy and her team. If you are considering planning a destination wedding and feel nervous about logistics, trust me — you want Lucy in your corner. Working with Alejandra and Ari during our wedding planning process in Mexico was such a pleasure! If you’re looking for a team that offers the best of both worlds - flawless execution and unique design - look no further! We first started our journey with Alejandra almost 1.5 years ahead of our wedding. Alejandra was there for us every step of the way - she helped with vendor selection, guided us on what to consider during this process, which vendors to prioritize first vs last, and how to have fun along the way. Then Ari came along and put together an absolute dream of a design that encapsulated our desired energy for the wedding. Unfortunately, due to unexpected family circumstances, we were forced to cancel our wedding in Mexico. Even so, Alejandra and Ari showed us so much grace. They were so understanding of our circumstances and while it was difficult to make the decision to pivot, they supported us every step of the way. If I could do this again, I would choose working with Alejandra and Ari over and over. I will miss working with this team, but I do know that I will be recommending them to any friends or family who is planning a destination wedding in Mexico. A dream come true in Merida, Yucatan! SOS Wedding planners are simply amazing! Micheal and the SOS team’s great ideas and creativity really made our wedding extra special. First and foremost the SOS team are very welcoming, patient, organized, and their great communication skills made us feel very comfortable and easy to make the right decisions. Their professionalism is outstanding. As a bride it was nice to turn everything to them and not have to worry about anything, I felt very relaxed and enjoyed our day from the start to the end. The team at SOS truly went above and beyond to make our destination wedding in Tulum a dream come true. From the moment we started planning, they were incredibly responsive and helpful. They were incredibly organized, attentive to detail, and always available to answer our questions. They helped us plan a beautiful pool side welcome party, a delicious rehearsal dinner at Nu Tulum with great food, and our stunning wedding ceremony on the beach. The boat day they organized for the wedding party was a highlight of the trip, and the golf outing for the guys was a huge hit. I can't imagine planning our wedding without their expertise, guidance, and of course patience. SOS is simply the best!
