Plan Your Riviera Maya Wedding: Vendors, Inspiration, & Expert Advice

Martin was our photographer for our wedding in February in Tulum, Q.Roo, Mexico and he captured the most beautiful photos of us and our wedding. He was very easy to work with, very involved and very professional as well. I got so emotional all over again looking at my photos once I received them! They were THAT beautiful! I highly recommend Martin if you’re looking for a quality photographer for your big day. He won’t disappoint!! Thanks again, Martin!

I was an admirer of Memorybox well before I got engaged. There was no doubt in my mind I wanted to hire them for our wedding day. Mel and Fred were absolutely wonderful to work with made the process seamless. They made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and provided all necessary guidance. Their energy and positivity helped me feel at ease. The work they produce is nothing short of stunning. We couldn’t have had a better experience and would choose them over and over again. Don’t think twice about hiring them. They’re spectacular.

Juli was truly the perfect photographer! She is truly so kind and funny, and made us feel totally at ease at comfortable in front of the camera. She captured every single moment on our wedding day beautifully, in a totally natural and non-intrusive way. The photos are unbelievable, and I know we will treasure them forever. She was also so communicative before and after the wedding, and got our photos back so quickly. We would absolutely recommend Juli to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I are from CT and decided to have a destination wedding. I found Celia through Instagram and loved her work and the fact that she had done many weddings at my resort. Celia was so easy to communicate with, her work is amazing and we couldn’t be happier than we chose her as our wedding photographer. Highly recommend her!!

We had an amazing experience with the folks at Take it Photo. They were so kind, so flexible, and so much fun!! They never pressured us to be out of our comfort zone and captured shots so beautifully! We would highly recommend them. Their Instagram esthetic is to die for and was the main reason we decided to go with them for our wedding! Unfortunately, Lupe was unavailable for our wedding as they had another wedding at the same time. However, she literally made it a point to still come to our resort after the wedding to simply MEET us in person and congratulate us. It meant so much that she took the time to meet us even though she was not able to photograph our wedding It just shows how much they cared for every single one of their clients. During our events, they did their best to "blend in" and capture amazing shots of us and our guests without any issue. I would hire them again if I could!!

Elegance Photographie should be your go-to choice for wedding photos and videography for your Mexican destination wedding, hands down. The professionalism, organization, and vision that Clement and his team showed surpassed our expectations significantly. My wife and I are introverts, and it can be draining for us knowing we’re the centre of attention and having to pose without looking awkward in the process. The Elegance team put us at ease and made it so much less stressful than we imagined. The colours and composition of the photos are vibrant and exciting, and the video shots that were edited together flow naturally and captured the richness of both our Hindu and secular ceremonies. The drone footage was an especially nice touch. Phenomenal job with communication as well, and with timely responses to our requests for edits. We’re so grateful we had the chance to work with Elegance, and thank you for helping us preserve our special day!

We worked with Pink Balance Photography (Pepe & Francisco) for our wedding, and they were one of the best decisions we made. From the start, communication was seamless. They were super responsive, easy to coordinate with, and everything was handled over text without any stress or back-and-forth. Going into a destination wedding, that level of reliability makes a huge difference. On the day itself, they were incredibly professional and efficient. They gave clear direction when needed but never made anything feel staged or forced. We let them have full artistic freedom, and they absolutely delivered. They captured the energy, emotion, and overall feeling of the day so well, not just the posed moments but all the in-between ones too. We also did a first look and pre-ceremony family photos, and they guided that perfectly so we could actually enjoy our cocktail hour instead of spending it taking pictures. The final gallery was amazing. We received around 800 photos within just 2 weeks, which honestly exceeded expectations for turnaround time. The editing style was completely consistent with their Instagram, so there were no surprises there. We’re still waiting on the video (expected in May), but based on the photos and overall experience, we have full confidence it’ll be great. Overall, they are 100% worth the price. If you’re considering them, I wouldn’t hesitate.

There is no way our wedding would have been as successful without the help of our amazing wedding team – led by Lucy Gallagher Boutique Weddings! They provided us with a wedding planning portal to update your wedding requests, decor & layouts, guests lists, amongst other items leading up to the wedding which kept us extremely organized. From our constant changing of venues to vendor recommendations to bringing our wedding design inspiration come to life, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! Our families and friends cannot stop raving about how amazing and beautiful everything turned out and how attentive Lucy, Arlenis, and the planning team were! Lucy has amazing organizational skills for planning and day-of coordinating, however, be prepared to come with your own design inspiration, hirer a separate designer, or work with vendors on design elements.

Dream Wedding all thanks to Luisa and her team! Luisa Clemente is heaven sent! I truly could not have pictured planning this wedding without her! She was able to take all my ideas and my vision for my wedding and bring them to life. We sat on calls for hours really nailing it down. I also now consider her a friend. She is super personable and easy to talk to. She is also the best problem solver. She overall helped me save money and found the BEST vendors for my wedding at Hotel Xcaret Mexico. Her team member, Angeles, helped me so much on my wedding day, she made sure I was hydrated and helped me find things I was looking for, anything I needed she was right there. She also took pix of me and helped calm my nerves, she was a true Angel on my wedding day! I cannot believe how perfect and beautiful everything came out, I could relive that day over and over!!! 10/10 cannot recommend Weddings Riviera Maya more!!!

Lorenzo and his team made our destination wedding dreams come true! When we started planning our destination wedding, we did not know where to begin. From the very beginning, they sourced excellent vendors and kept everything in order on the day of the wedding! Pride maya weddings were very resourceful, communicative, and extremely responsive and had anwsers to all of our questions. The team went out of the way to fufill all of our requests. Our 60 guests destination wedding was an absolute dream that we will never forget. Thank you to this amazing group! As I write this review, I’m struggling to find the appropriate words to convey my gratitude for the SOS team. Maggie and Angie were beyond spectacular. I couldn’t have asked for a better duo to collaborate with for such an important day. They were such an amazing resource, so knowledgeable, so kind and pleasant to work with. Them, along with their day-of team (Norma and Cristina), made the wedding of our dreams happen. People are STILL raving about the experience they had and even they noticed how prepared they were. They thought of EVERYTHING - helped with even wardrobe mishaps and changes. Truly a beyond amazing team. And of course throughout the planning process, I remember telling anyone who would ask that I didn’t feel stressed really, mainly because I had SOS in my corner. They were readily available, they were a great liaison between myself and the venue/hotel, and they were super organized and had great advice. They went above and beyond, even helped organize non-wedding activities for my guests and hubby and I. Hiring MC Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the investment. What we appreciated the most was that we never had to worry about a single thing. You guided us through every step, always knowing what was next and making sure everything ran smoothly. From snacks and photos to the civil ceremony and even helping me change dresses when I was feeling faint, you were there for absolutely everything. Looking back, we realize that what we invested in was so much more than wedding planning. It was peace of mind, genuine care, and the freedom to be fully present and enjoy every moment of one of the most important days of our lives. I am so thankful to Michelle and her team for creating such an incredible experience for us. From our first visit to Banyan Tree in March through all the planning calls and decisions, Michelle made the process feel smooth, organized, and even fun. The ceremony was more beautiful than we ever imagined, and our guests are still talking about how thoughtfully everything was put together (years later!). I had been looking for a wedding planner in Mexico for a long time, and then I found Sina. That was the best thing that could have happened to my husband and me. She planned our wedding at Casa Malca in Tulum, and it was truly magical. Sina was incredibly reliable and guided us through the entire wedding planning process with such competence and warmth. She was always available, quick to respond, and simply a powerwoman ,creative and truly skilled at what she does. She had so many wonderful ideas but always respected and fulfilled our wishes.
