Hiring Lucy was easily the best decision we made for our destination wedding. Thanks to her, we experienced absolutely zero stress throughout our entire wedding weekend and could completely enjoy the moment. I chose her because of her experience at our venue (Hotel Xcaret Mexico), which proved invaluable when navigating communication and logistics with the hotel staff. She recommended fantastic photo and video vendors, and handled all of the coordination and communications with them. On the wedding day, her energy was amazing. We were able to completely trust her to run the show; we were simply told where to be and when, and she kept everything incredibly smooth and chill. From our very first call, she kept us on track with a clear checklist, knew exactly what questions to ask the venue, and guided us through every detail regarding our timeline, decor, and vendors. If you want a wedding planner who is highly competent, an excellent communicator, and an absolute joy to have around on your big day, hire Lucy. Our experience would not have been the same without her!

Wow! Where to begin. From the start of venue searching, Lorenzo was incredibly responsive, helpful, and detail oriented. As we began our official planning we knew we ONLY wanted to work with Lorenzo’s company. When we chose our wedding date, Lorenzo was unavailable so we were able to work with Andy through the entire wedding planning. Luckily Andy was just as responsive, helpful, and was able to bring our vision alive! We had a 100 person wedding at Mahekal Beach resort, and while I can’t admit that there were ZERO hiccups, Andy was there to help solve our issues and work with the wedding coordinator and vendors to make everything happen and move smoothly through out the wedding festivities. We love Lorenzo and Andy and do not regret our decision of hiring them as our wedding planners!

We got married in March 2025 at the Hilton All-Inclusive in Mexico, and working with Michael Cruz from SOS Planners was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, Michael was by our side every step of the way. We first visited Tulum and Playa del Carmen for a site visit in May 2024, and Michael thoughtfully guided us through several venues, helping us navigate a process that can easily feel overwhelming. Throughout the planning process—which took place almost entirely over WhatsApp, emails, and video calls—Michael was responsive, supportive, and always one step ahead. We were even able to visit Cancun with our parents a few months before the wedding for a tasting, but honestly, we would have felt completely comfortable planning everything remotely because of how seamless he made the experience. Planning a destination wedding is no small feat, especially one that blends cultures and includes multiple events—but Michael handled our Indian-Chinese fusion wedding with such creativity, care, and cultural sensitivity. He truly embraced both traditions and made sure every detail honored our heritage. Our celebration included a Haldi, Chinese Tea Ceremony/Welcome Party, a beachside wedding ceremony, a post-wedding traditional Indian thali brunch, and a reception—and each event was executed flawlessly. Even when unexpected challenges arose—like extreme wind that required a last-minute venue change for our welcome party—Michael calmly and efficiently worked with his team and the hotel to make the transition feel effortless. It’s this kind of professionalism and grace under pressure that makes Michael such an exceptional planner. During the wedding weekend itself, the SOS team was an incredible presence—always kind, thoughtful, and reassuring. I truly can’t imagine our wedding without them. Michael took the time to deeply understand our vision and somehow elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. From the décor to the logistics to the tiniest personal touches, his attention to detail and passion for creating meaningful moments were evident throughout. Regardless of the type of wedding, cultural background, or traditions involved, Michael truly listens and brings your unique vision to life. Our family and guests are still talking about how magical everything was—and my husband and I continue to reminisce about how special and joy-filled our wedding week turned out to be. Michael and his team made my dream wedding come true! I was nervous planning a wedding in Mexico since I live in CA but truthfully, Michael is qualified, experienced & skilled. If there is something you want for your wedding, he will go to lengths to find it. Not to mention, there was never a delay in communication which put my type A personality at ease.
