SOS Wedding Planners

There aren’t enough nice things I could ever say about Maggie and the SOS team. 5 months before my wedding, I had to unexpectedly find a new planner after still having almost no vendors booked. SOS swooped in and didn’t only save the day, they were a highlight of the whole planning process for me. Every vendor they recommended was phenomenal, and we threw a party for the ages. People 4 months later are still talking about it. The day of, they had a whole team manning every single detail. Things we hadn’t even planned for or discussed, like a change of shirt for my husband when he sweat through it, and ceremony fans for our guests. They planned all our budgets and tracked all payments — the often confusing international planning can be overwhelming and they helped immensely. I STRONGLY recommend hiring a local team like SOS, their connections and inside-scoop on Riviera Maya was necessary. One of my guests was so blown away by the wedding and their team, she’s now hired SOS for her own wedding next year in Cabo. I don’t know that you could think of a better testimony than that. The wedding they put together for me at Saasil Kantenah was STUNNING, and they understood my vision completely. But maybe most importantly, they were so fun to work with, so kind, incredibly thoughtful, organized and responsive. I’m so, so lucky I found them!!!

When our initial wedding planner became unresponsive, we reached out to SOS Wedding Planner in a panic. To our amazement, Maggie and Angie promptly called us and sprung into action, contacting the hotel manager and addressing our concerns even before we officially hired them. Their level of care and immediate response convinced us to make them our permanent planner. It was the best decision we made. They consistently responded to our messages and emails, despite working across different time zones and varying hours. Even when they were busy, they ensured to communicate with us, never leaving us hanging. Communication was a challenge with other planners in Mexico, but SOS excelled at it. They not only turned our dreams into reality but also provided valuable suggestions and showed genuine care. They had an incredible knack for remembering details and organizing our thoughts when we felt overwhelmed. We couldn't have asked for a better team.

If we were ever feeling overwhelmed, they were always so calm, positive and in-control so we knew we had nothing to worry about. Michael and the SOS Planning team were absolutely amazing and helped us create our dream wedding weekend. We hired SOS only 5 months before the wedding and they were SO helpful planning our wedding in Tulum. We would not have been able to coordinate all the vendors and make our vision come true without them. They were very organized and always readily available for a meeting even on the weekends. During the wedding weekend the team took care of all the details and were always 1 step ahead of anything we needed. We were sad after the wedding, not that the wedding was over, but that our time working with SOS & Michael had ended!
