My style is, at its core, chameleon-like. I believe every wedding should be an authentic reflection of the couple, so my approach begins with understanding their vision, their desires, and the feeling they want to evoke, while also taking into consideration the character and setting of the chosen venue. From there, I curate and elevate the aesthetic to create a celebration that feels intentional, cohesive, and uniquely their own.

My journey into the world of weddings began almost 20 years ago in Tulum, long before it became the destination it is today. I started my career working within the hotel industry, where I had the opportunity to learn, contribute, and develop a deeply hands-on approach to hospitality, events, and destination experiences. My background was shaped not only by weddings, but by the incredible diversity of experiences I encountered in Tulum at the time. I worked with television productions, fashion and editorial shoots, weddings, private celebrations, family vacations, intimate parties, and special clients with exceptionally high expectations. Each experience taught me something different about service, creativity, logistics, and, above all, the art of making things happen. Back then, Tulum was still very low-profile, with far fewer resources and infrastructure than it has today. We learned to be resourceful, creative, and incredibly solution-oriented—to create something extraordinary with what was available. That experience became a fundamental part of my approach and continues to influence the way I work today. About ten years ago, my work naturally expanded into other destinations, and I began creating weddings in Holbox Island and Mérida, Yucatán. Working across these very different environments allowed me to further develop a destination-driven perspective, learning how to embrace the personality of each place while creating celebrations that feel intentional, elevated, and deeply connected to the couple. Today, I bring all of those experiences together: nearly two decades of hospitality and event production, a deep understanding of destination weddings, and the ability to adapt creatively to each couple, each location, and each unique vision.

My approach to communication is rooted in listening first. For me, understanding my clients—their ideas, expectations, priorities, and the experience they want to create—is essential to bringing their vision to life. My role is not simply to organize the details, but to truly understand what matters to each couple and translate that vision into a meaningful and beautifully executed celebration. Because wedding planning can span a year, eighteen months, six months, or sometimes just three months, I also place great importance on structure, clarity, and organization throughout the process. With so many moving parts and decisions involved, having a clear communication system allows us to keep everything documented, organized, and moving forward seamlessly. I work through a combination of video calls, email, and an online wedding planning platform, which serves as the central hub for the planning process. The majority of our formal communication is handled through email and the platform, ensuring that important conversations, decisions, timelines, and details are properly documented and easy to reference throughout the planning journey. I also offer WhatsApp as a more informal and immediate channel for day-to-day communication. However, when it comes to formal decisions, approvals, planning details, and anything that needs to be documented, I prefer to keep communication within the platform, email, or video calls. For me, great communication is both personal and organized: it begins with genuinely listening to my clients and is supported by a clear structure that allows their vision to evolve thoughtfully and ultimately become a reality.
