My husband and I started working with PMW in March 2022 after we had booked our venue. We were planning a wedding at Villa La Joya in Playa del Carmen for 200 guests. Lorenzo, Emily & Gustavo were always a text or Whatsapp message away for any questions or concerns that we had (even when Lorenzo would be visiting Italy)! It was SO easy picking out vendors with their help. When a vendor was a little out of budget, they would find another similar that was in range. If they hadn't heard of a vendor, they will do their own research to see what they can find. Once we picked the vendors, it was smooth sailing! 3 months away from the wedding, we had a zoom meeting, and I even told them, "I don't feel like I'm as stressed as I should be." Wedding day came along, and Ben and I could not believe how PERFECT the day was. I literally had no stress or anxiety the day of. After the wedding, they also put all of our things together and just packed it into a van for us, so we didn't have to do anything! Thank you so much, Lorenzo, Emily & Gustavo. Our wedding was literally a dream come true and it is all thanks to y'all!! Ben and I wish we could just re-live that night over again because it was so perfect!!

Lupita Tirado was the best wedding organizer we could have asked for! While having her own impeccable sense of style and design, Lupita was also receptive to our ideas, and made our dream wedding come true! Lupita and Joe were extremely organized, pleasant and fun, and made the planning process very enjoyable. We truly feel they became our friends! They were available every day until late hours to help us navigate the planning process throughout an entire year. They were also incredibly patient and kind, and knew how to handle stressful situations where important decisions had to be taken. We were very impressed at their ability to keep track of all the details that were mentioned over text messages and calls. Lupita made sure our requests were taken into account- from the flower arrangements, to the tablescape design requiring specific candles, made-to-order decorative elements, crockery and glasses, to the musical selections incorporating a trio, mariachis, danzón band and DJ. The catering company was top notch, with impeccable service and exceptional food- guests independently mentioned they felt as though they were dining at a high-end restaurant. Lupita and her team are charming and professional, and know how to handle difficult personalities- all events ran smoothly while ensuring our guest’s needs- and at times demanding requests- were met. We cannot recommend Lupita and her team enough. We think that the best testament to their amazing work was hearing from countless guests that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended!

SOS Wedding Planners completely exceeded my expectations! Most of my friends planned their weddings on their own without hiring planners, and I initially intended to do the same. I am so glad I didn’t. Hiring SOS Wedding Planners was truly the best decision I made for our wedding. Without them, I don’t believe our wedding would have been described by our friends and family as “the best wedding they’ve ever been to.” From our very first consultation, they were already steering me in the right direction, pointing out which vendors wouldn’t be worth it and recommending much better alternatives. From that moment on, I was sold. Since we live in the U.S. and our wedding was in Mexico, we absolutely needed a planner who knew the area and could help us make the best decisions from afar. Ana, our main planner, had previously worked at the location of our venue before joining SOS, so she knew the ins and outs like no one else. She stayed in constant communication with us from day one and scheduled monthly meetings to keep me updated on every step of the process. What initially felt like a daunting task became something I actually enjoyed, thanks to Ana’s guidance and organization. I gave her our budget and vision, and she found high-quality vendors who fit both without ever compromising on what I wanted. She was kind, patient, and full of fantastic suggestions, especially when I had no idea what direction to go. She answered every question I had, always with helpful context, and was incredibly transparent and available practically around the clock. Ana even went above and beyond in ways I never expected. I had several items I wanted to bring from the U.S. for the wedding, and she kindly allowed me to ship or deliver them directly to her home in Mexico so they’d be ready for the big day. When our welcome bags got stuck in customs just days before the wedding, Ana personally contacted UPS to help resolve the issue. When it became clear we wouldn’t be able to get them released in time, she didn’t miss a beat, she quickly came up with a solution and sourced an alternative that our guests ended up loving. What could have been a stressful setback turned into a thoughtful surprise, all thanks to her quick thinking and dedication. I’m still in awe of how perfectly everything came together, and it’s all thanks to Ana and the SOS team. I sent them inspiration photos, a color scheme, and a general theme, and they brought it all to life. From finding floral and decor options to organizing table settings and managing all the costs and payment timelines, Ana handled everything with precision. She created a detailed budget sheet, centralized all our contracts, and even helped design the venue layout. Her attention to detail and professionalism were unmatched. And that’s not even including what they did on the wedding day itself. Ana built a flawless schedule for my family and me to follow, and her team was by our side the entire time to make sure everything stayed on track. I was completely stress-free. If anything went wrong that day, I didn’t notice, it was handled seamlessly behind the scenes. I was able to fully enjoy every moment without worrying about logistics or family needs. The SOS team managed it all. Honestly, I could write a whole book about how incredible and professional they were. How they catered to every need, big or small. Even my husband, who usually doesn’t pay attention to these kinds of details, was seriously impressed with how well Ana and her team executed everything. I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend SOS Wedding Planners to anyone planning a destination wedding.
