Plan Your Costa Rica Wedding: Vendors, Inspiration, & Expert Advice

All of the photographs are stunning! Natalia and Emanuel captured the love and energy of our wedding day. Meeting them for the first time on our wedding day felt like we have been friends for a long time. We felt comfortable and easy working with the White Diamond Photo dynamic duo! They let us be ourselves on our special day and photographed us in the moment.

We had the most amazing experience with Raw Shoots! From the first time we video chatted to interview them, we knew they would be the perfect photographers for our big day. Rob and Lori have the most amazing energy and really helped us feel excited all the way through the planning process. On the day of, they were with us throughout the day - real pros who were able to keep us calm and guide us through the timeline of events. They have a great style and were able to capture so many authentic moments between my husband and I but also with our wedding party and guests. Big thanks to them for all the work they put in to make our wedding day so special!!!

Adri was the perfect photographer for our elopement in Costa Rica. She’s a little ball of energy and really made sure that we were not only taking amazing pictures but also happy, engaged with each other and enjoying ourselves. The pictures were beyond any words and the experience was everything we wanted. Her and Oscar (videographer who she works with…also AMAZING!) went out of their way to get footage. On our wedding day we had a crazy storm and weren’t t able to take many pictures outside so they drove for hours a couple of days later to meet us at another location just so that we’d be able to have more pictures at no extra cost. They are truly special and we felt blessed to have them. They went above and beyond to make our special day extra special.

Jenn was absolutely amazing. Her energy was so pure and genuine and when I first reached out to her, I felt like this was the perfect right choice of who I wanted to capture the best day of my life. Not only did she take stunning photos of our engagement but she helped me make sure everything was prepared. I was in a completely different country than her and she made me feel safe secure and heard with everything that I wanted for the proposal. Her and her husband were such a joy to work with we loved them so much we plan to elope in Costa Rica and will definitely have Jenn capture it.

Jessica is beyond amazing!! The best word to describe her work is MAGIC, not only the way she captures every moment; but also the way she makes you feel confident and comfortable while she captures memories that will last forever as she did for my engagement, wedding and post-wedding photos. She is a great person and professional. I totally recommend her amazing job, definitely the best photographer in Costa Rica!!

From our very first conversation til the day we left Costa Rica, Meghan and her team were the best and that is an understatement. Having no idea what we wanted or where to even start, we were given guidance, ideas and a scheduled itinerary for us to come pre-decision making. Our planning process was just under one year and Mil Besos was there every step of the way. Meghan was available to chat anytime we needed her and answered any & all questions/concerns. I knew when I arrived in Costa Rica everything was going to be amazing but I didn't realize how amazing. We had multiple events throughout the wedding weekend and Kerry & Sol were there helping me, my family & all of our guests get where they needed to be (and on time!) You never know what to expect when you make all of your decisions over the phone or based on photos but Cata took everything I liked and turned it into more than I ever could have imagined. I was blown away by how my wedding turned out. On my actual wedding day Sol and Kerry MADE IT HAPPEN. My groom & I wanted for nothing and we loved being able to spend time with them all day. There aren't enough hours in the day to go on and on, if I could I would. Aside from saying yes to your partner, hiring Mil Besos will be the second best decision you ever make. I promise.

It can feel overwhelming to choose a videographer for a destination wedding but as soon as I saw samples of DWS' wedding portfolio, I knew DWS embraced the vision I had for our wedding videography. Working with Jamileth and the DWS team was seamless: from understanding our relationship and our vision, to communication and payment, Jami was a pleasure to work with. On the day of our wedding at Villa Punto de Vista, the DWS team was there to capture all of the important moments, while somehow never being in the way! They are true professionals. DWS happily and easily worked in collaboration with our photography team, and, between both teams, we feel like we had the dream photo/video team! The video quality is incredible and includes drone footage. It is perfectly edited to sync to suitable music and nicely overlays audio from our vows, ceremony, speeches, and toasts. We absolutely love our photos, but our wedding highlight video, teaser videos and ceremony cut are the perfect way to showcase the emotions and overall feeling of the day in a way that photos do not always do. We are so happy to have the combination of photos + video to remember our wedding celebration. We are so grateful to have these memories that we will cherish forever and we recommend DWS to anyone looking for a destination wedding videographer in Costa Rica and beyond!
