Raw Shoots was incredible from the very start! They were always on top of sending us information and making sure we felt at ease. They set up a video meet and greet to introduce themselves and answer any questions we had. We felt so supported and truly cared for! They consistently checked in on us to make sure our day went smoothly. The photographer they sent us, Chris, was absolutely wonderful! He was so kind and intentional. Jenn was absolutely amazing. Her energy was so pure and genuine and when I first reached out to her, I felt like this was the perfect right choice of who I wanted to capture the best day of my life. Not only did she take stunning photos of our engagement but she helped me make sure everything was prepared. I was in a completely different country than her and she made me feel safe secure and heard with everything that I wanted for the proposal. Lucas was our lead photographer and him and his team were timely, intuitive, and brought such an amazing creative vision to our day. Everything flowed so naturally — no constant posing, no awkward moments — just us being present while they captured it all perfectly. Our photos are breathtaking, and the video? Pure magic. It literally feels like the trailer to the most insane love story. We cannot stop watching it. They deserve every award possible.

The second I saw Natalia and Emanuel's photos from past events I knew they were the photographers for our elopement in Costa Rica. So much so that I asked our coordinator to pick a date based on when Natalia and Emanuel were available. From the very start of our wedding day Natalie and Emanuel were so warm and fun to work with. There was zero stress the entire time and much of that was due to having them along side us every step of the day and ceremony. By the end of the evening we felt like they were guests of our wedding. The day would have not been as magical and special without both of them. When we saw the photos, all I could say was WOW! The photos look like something out of a high end art show or high fashion magazine. Anything but typical wedding photos. They are beyond elegant and sophisticated and at the same time show our love. As far as the business side it was so easy working with Natalie from a different county setting up and planning our day. I left the creative elements to them and spent about 10 minutes total planning logistics due to the ease of communication. Thank you both Natalia and Emanuel for your incredible work and time! From our very first conversation til the day we left Costa Rica, Meghan and her team were the best and that is an understatement. Having no idea what we wanted or where to even start, we were given guidance, ideas and a scheduled itinerary for us to come pre-decision making. Our planning process was just under one year and Mil Besos was there every step of the way. Meghan was available to chat anytime we needed her and answered any & all questions/concerns. I knew when I arrived in Costa Rica everything was going to be amazing but I didn't realize how amazing. We had multiple events throughout the wedding weekend and Kerry & Sol were there helping me, my family & all of our guests get where they needed to be (and on time!) You never know what to expect when you make all of your decisions over the phone or based on photos but Cata took everything I liked and turned it into more than I ever could have imagined. I was blown away by how my wedding turned out. On my actual wedding day Sol and Kerry MADE IT HAPPEN. My groom & I wanted for nothing and we loved being able to spend time with them all day. There aren't enough hours in the day to go on and on, if I could I would. Aside from saying yes to your partner, hiring Mil Besos will be the second best decision you ever make. I promise.

My wife and I were planning an elopement in Costa Rica and knew that we had to carefully pick our photographer as these photos are intended to last a lifetime. After careful consideration one photographer stood out to us and it was Maciej. He has been communicating with us since the day we booked him a year in advance and when we finally met him in person he was a gem of a person to work with. He’s very kind and made the photo taking process very easy considering we aren’t the best at posing for photos. Speaking of the photos , WOW. He made our photos look like cinema. We love how he not only captured us but the beauty of the nature around us. We chose this waterfall (Llanos de Cortez) off his recommendation and it was the perfect spot if you are a nature lover and want a unique setting for your special day. He was creative with his composition and made sure to capture the essence of our love. The fact that he was able to coordinate with the officiant to have us get married legally made the whole package worth every penny. Our trip to Costa Rica was amazing and it was largely due to the people we met along the way and he for sure was one of them. Papaya Wedding is worth your consideration and I would book him again in a heartbeat!

It can feel overwhelming to choose a videographer for a destination wedding but as soon as I saw samples of DWS' wedding portfolio, I knew DWS embraced the vision I had for our wedding videography. Working with Jamileth and the DWS team was seamless: from understanding our relationship and our vision, to communication and payment, Jami was a pleasure to work with. On the day of our wedding at Villa Punto de Vista, the DWS team was there to capture all of the important moments, while somehow never being in the way! They are true professionals. DWS happily and easily worked in collaboration with our photography team, and, between both teams, we feel like we had the dream photo/video team! The video quality is incredible and includes drone footage. It is perfectly edited to sync to suitable music and nicely overlays audio from our vows, ceremony, speeches, and toasts. We absolutely love our photos, but our wedding highlight video, teaser videos and ceremony cut are the perfect way to showcase the emotions and overall feeling of the day in a way that photos do not always do. We are so happy to have the combination of photos + video to remember our wedding celebration. We are so grateful to have these memories that we will cherish forever and we recommend DWS to anyone looking for a destination wedding videographer in Costa Rica and beyond!
