Maciej went above and beyond for our elopement. He was more than just a photographer, he was truly our wedding planner. My husband and I had never been to Costa Rica, so we weren’t sure what we wanted for our elopement or where to begin. He spent so much time educating us on the area and sending thoughtful ceremony location options. He even used his personal time to scout different spots and speak with multiple agencies to help make our day perfect. We ultimately planned on a helicopter ride to a waterfall, followed by a couples massage and lunch. This was a super romantic itinerary he completely designed and curated for us from start to finish. Unfortunately, the rain on our wedding day prevented us from doing any of the original plans he worked so hard on. But he effortlessly pivoted, met us at our hotel. We still had the most incredible, intimate wedding we could have imagined and I felt no stress, even as an extremely anxious person. Maciej makes you feel completely comfortable and is genuinely down for anything. His photography skills are unmatched. We received our photos so quickly, and the quality is truly stunning. It’s clear this is a gift that comes naturally to him. He is also incredibly well connected in the area. He recommended an amazing makeup artist and a beautiful cacao ceremony officiant, and he personally picked up the exact flowers I had envisioned from a local shop and brought them to our wedding. If you are considering Papaya Wedding and Maciej, whether in Costa Rica or anywhere in the world, I would say you should absolutely do it. He has a creative mind that will make your dreams come true. He is open to traveling, his pricing is extremely reasonable, and he pours his heart into what he does. We are so grateful and will absolutely be working with him again.

Our wedding day was everything we could have imagined thanks to all our amazing vendors! We are so happy to have worked with Raw Shoots! We loved the work we saw on their website and social media when we initially chose them, but working with Rob & Lori on the day of the wedding was better than we could have imagined. They helped us come up with great photoshoot locations and gave us plenty of options to choose from. Rob & Lori were so flexible on the day of the wedding and gave us the support and guidance we needed throughout our individual and group shots. They made the day even more personalized and special when we received a lovely unexpected gift from them and a second unexpected surprise at the end of the wedding (don't want to give it away to the other bride and grooms, but very special and thoughtful)!! Rob & Lori have such as unique talent and I would recommend them to any couple looking to get wedding shots or otherwise.

Lucas was our lead photographer and him and his team were timely, intuitive, and brought such an amazing creative vision to our day. Everything flowed so naturally — no constant posing, no awkward moments — just us being present while they captured it all perfectly. Our photos are breathtaking, and the video? Pure magic. It literally feels like the trailer to the most insane love story. We cannot stop watching it. They deserve every award possible.
