I contacted Dani after finding her Instagram and we used her for an engagement shoot during a trip to Cabo in August 2021. We had never taken professional photos as a couple and were pretty nervous about looking awkward trying to pose but from the second we met her she made us feel comfortable. Dani made the entire hour fun and coached us through poses, but also made sure we were being ourselves and interacting how we normally would (including taking tequila shots!). She knew the hotel we were staying at and moved to different photo locations to time lighting perfectly and highlight the unique architecture and views of the hotel. Dani is incredibly talented and creative. She got us our photo gallery in less than a week and we are obsessed with them all. I will always recommend Dani!

I can’t express my gratitude and love for this team of amazing people! Everything was perfect from start to finish and we will get to cherish these memories forever thanks to MemoryBox. As a bride who doesn’t love being the center of attention and doesn’t feel very photogenic at all, you wouldn’t be able to tell because they made me feel so comfortable and beautiful the second they walked in to the room. They helped me each step of the way and were in two places at once capturing amazing things for the groom and guests as well! We watched the video they captured and created for us and it brought all the incredible memories back and brought us both to tears. Couldn’t thank you all enough!

MC Weddings really captured the magic of our event, just the way we had wanted! My husband and I aren’t huge on pictures (we don’t have social media, etc.) but we wanted to capture the night and they did the perfect job for us. They captured the magic of the event without too much structure and all of our guests were involved in the final product! Highly recommend for any event.

We hired Karla for our engagement shoot and wedding and she did an amazing job. We first fell in love with her storytelling style and the beautiful tones of her images were so aesthetically pleasing. I don't typically like to be in front of the camera, but Karla made us feel so natural and relaxed. Her personality is sweet, laid back and fun! Karla also has such an eye for art and captures the most beautiful images and moments. We will treasure these photos for a lifetime!

Take it Photo is THE BEST photographer you can hire for your wedding day!! For us it was the easiest vendor to choose, just by looking at their instagram we knew right away that we wanted them for our wedding day. We met Lupe in person for our engagement session and she was AMAZING! My husband and I have never done a photoshoot before and we are obviously not models so we didn't know what to do or how to pose, but Lupe guided us through the entire session and made us feel super comfortable. After a few days we got our pictures back and WOW! they were beautiful. Our wedding was a year after and I was hoping that she was taking our pictures again, however she couldn't be there so Agustin was our photographer for the day. We knew we were in good hands because we actually met Agustin at my fiend's wedding and we got to talk to him and interact with him and he was also super nice and friendly, plus my friend's wedding pictures came out beautiful. Our experience with him was also AMAZING, he also guided us with the poses and on what to do, and let me tell you we are OBSESSED with the pictures! We are super grateful to both Lupe and Agustin, they are both the nicest people and of course INCREDIBLY TALENTED. Please stop looking for anyone else and just hired them, you won't regret it!

He is definetibely one of the most best experiencied photographers by far, he knows who to capture, when and how to get along with each of his clients by just not taking the pictures but making the scene comfortable and even participating on the party! Everybody loves him, no need to tell him how to do it or send inspo, you just trust him! My wall is full of my wedding pictures by him.

I found Celia from tagged photos at the resort we decided to get married at in Cancun (Dreams Playa Mujeres). I was immediately drawn to her style of photography. I reached out to see if she had availability and it was all magic from there. She sent her pricing and previous wedding collections I could look through. I was sold! We exchanged emails back and forth and the booking process was easy. Celia is so kind and lovely in person! She made our day so special and perfect. Her work captured our love & the sweetest moments from that day. I’m so grateful that I’ll get to look at these photos for the rest of my life. She is so easy to work with- she made me feel so beautiful and confident in front of her camera. She made the entire process smooth and easy. I highly recommend booking her!!

We cannot say enough good things about the EFEGE team! From our very first conversation to the moment we received our final gallery, every step was seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely fun. They were incredibly responsive and organized leading up to the wedding, which made us feel calm and confident going into the day. On the wedding day itself, they were absolutely amazing. Our wedding photos and video are absolutely breathtaking. They captured every emotion, every laugh, every little detail we didn't even realize was happening, and their artistic eye turned our memories into images we'll treasure for the rest of our lives. You will not regret it booking them!

I rarely write reviews, but after months of attempting to resolve this privately and giving every opportunity to make things right, I feel it is important to share our experience so other couples can make an informed decision. We booked Talia after extensive research and a genuinely wonderful initial consultation. From that very first call, she was warm, professional, and deeply aligned with our vision. We felt we had found not just a talented photographer, but someone we truly trusted with one of the most important days of our lives. Booking a destination wedding photographer sight unseen is a leap of faith, and our engagement session completely validated that decision — the direction, the attentiveness, the final images, all of it exceeded our expectations and gave us full confidence heading into our wedding day. Unfortunately, that trust and confidence were not honored when it mattered most. The Photographer Swap — Without a Direct Call Weeks before our wedding, we learned that Talia would not be photographing our wedding at all. Rather than hearing this directly from Talia — the person we had built a relationship with, paid, and trusted — we were informed by a member of her team and introduced to a photographer, Perry, we had never worked with before. This was jarring and deeply unsettling, especially so close to the wedding. We felt passed off without care or intention. We later learned Talia had a family emergency, which we fully understand and sympathize with — but a personal call or even a personal email from Talia herself would have gone a long way. We deserved that direct communication given the relationship we had built. The Wedding Day Coverage Despite having ample buffer time built into the timeline, the photo coverage felt rushed. Meaningful moments went uncaptured. There were notable gaps in the gallery — cocktail hour photos, dancing, candid moments, and additional family and wedding party portraits were either missing or severely lacking. The second shooter added very little value. We found ourselves having to provide direction and call out poses in the moment — something no bride should have to do on her wedding day. What made this particularly frustrating is that we knew firsthand what intentional direction and posing looked like from Talia — because she delivered exactly that during our engagement session. That session demonstrated clearly that guided, thoughtful direction was absolutely part of her creative approach and within the scope of her work. The issue was not the style or the expectation — it was that the photographer sent in her place was simply not able to deliver at that same level. We had shared detailed expectations, specific poses, and multiple Pinterest boards of visual references with Perry well in advance of the wedding, and he explicitly confirmed he was aligned with our vision. That alignment never materialized on the day. Had we been told in advance that posing and direction would not be part of the wedding day coverage, we would have come far more prepared — with clearer guidance and adjusted expectations. Instead, that critical information was never shared with us, and we only discovered the gap once it was too late to do anything about it. The Gallery — Editing & Quality When the gallery arrived, the editing felt entirely inconsistent with the style we had seen on Talia's Instagram and in her past work — the galleries that led us to book her in the first place. Many images appeared overly bright, washed out, or grainy in a way that felt like poor quality rather than an intentional stylistic choice. Portrait images in particular suffered noticeably. The overall gallery lacked variety, vision, and the storytelling quality we had been promised. It did not reflect the experience of our wedding day or the visual language we had aligned on during our planning process. Countless Opportunities to Make It Right — None Fully Honored Rather than rushing to leave a public review, we chose to handle this privately and gave Talia multiple opportunities over several months to remedy the situation. We raised every concern thoughtfully and respectfully, and to her credit, Talia did apologize and offered a re-edit of specific images. We submitted our re-edit requests clearly and in good faith. The re-edits we received back were deeply problematic. Several photos contained significant inaccuracies — including altered details in my jewelry, bouquet, and attire. Most disturbingly, in at least two images, my husband's appearance was so noticeably altered that he looked like an entirely different person. These were not minor color adjustments — these were substantial and concerning changes that appear to have been made using AI-based editing tools without our knowledge or consent. It is difficult not to wonder whether these alterations were delivered in the hope that we simply would not notice — which, given the significance of these images, we find deeply unprofessional. When we raised this issue, we were told that Talia no longer had the RAW files from our wedding — which raises serious questions about professional standards and file retention practices. To make matters worse, the restriction around sneak peek images being ineligible for re-editing was never disclosed when we submitted those photos — nor at any point during the re-editing process itself. It was only after we received the flawed re-edits, expressed our frustration, and pushed back that this limitation was finally revealed. That is not a policy being communicated — that is information being withheld until a client is already upset and it becomes convenient to use as a reason why nothing more can be done. It left us feeling as though we were being managed rather than supported, and it is emblematic of a broader pattern that defined this entire experience. Additionally, several of the images we requested re-edited were black and white photos that we asked to be converted to color. We were told this was a creative decision and could not be changed — a limitation that was never disclosed upfront, and one we only learned about when it was used to deny our request outright, despite the fact that some color versions did exist. Dismissive Communication and a Lack of Transparency One of the most frustrating aspects of this entire experience was the communication style that emerged as the process wore on. What began as warm and collaborative gradually became cold, deflective, and transactional. By the end, Talia was redirecting us to her assistant for responses — which, given the gravity of our concerns and the months of respectful dialogue we had maintained, felt like a clear signal that a dissatisfied client was no longer worth her personal time or attention. Beyond the tone, there was a consistent pattern throughout this entire experience of information only being shared reactively — after problems had already surfaced — rather than proactively and transparently from the start. The limitations around black and white image delivery, the boundaries of re-editing, the sneak peek file restrictions, the implications of a photographer swap, the use of AI tools in post-processing, the level of posing direction that would or would not be provided on the day — none of these were communicated to us upfront. Instead, we were left to discover each one as a consequence after the fact, and when we raised concerns, the response often carried an undertone that we should have understood these things already. Couples hiring a wedding photographer should not be expected to anticipate undisclosed limitations and industry nuances that were never shared with them. Transparency and proactive communication are not optional — they are foundational to the trust that makes this kind of work possible. Concerns About Contract Compliance While Talia's team maintained that everything was delivered according to the contract, we have serious concerns that the contract was in fact breached in multiple ways. First, our contract stipulated that any photographer swap would be a true 1:1 replacement — meaning someone of equivalent skill, style, and experience. Perry, while kind and professional, was not a like-for-like substitute for Talia, and the resulting coverage reflected that gap. Second, our contract specified that Talia herself would edit our photos. The re-edits we received showed clear signs of AI-based manipulation — altering physical details, attire, and even my husband's appearance to the point of being unrecognizable in certain images. This was done without our knowledge or consent and is not what we agreed to when we hired Talia. These are not minor concerns — they go to the heart of what we paid for and trusted her to deliver. Final Thoughts These are irreplaceable memories. We trusted Talia with one of the most important days of our lives, and at every critical moment — the photographer swap, the wedding day execution, the gallery delivery, the re-edits, and the final communication — the experience fell short of what was promised and what we deserved. If you are considering booking Talia, please go in with eyes wide open. Ask explicitly what happens if she cannot attend your wedding and what a "1:1 replacement" truly means in practice. Ask about her file retention policy, which images may be delivered exclusively in black and white, re-edit limitations, sneak peek file restrictions, and whether AI tools are ever used in the editing process. Ask whether posing and direction will be provided on your wedding day, and whether any substitute photographer has been confirmed to be aligned with your specific vision — not just in conversation, but in practice. Understand that the experience you have during your engagement session may not reflect what you receive on your wedding day. We truly wanted to love our photos. We gave every opportunity for that to happen. We are heartbroken that it did not.

I don't know where to begin. It's hard to think I started planning this wedding last February (2021) and just got back from the best week of my life in Playa del Carmen. Last year I hired Pride Maya Weddings to help me plan my wedding all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina and I am so glad I did. It was truly amazing - it overhwhelmed my expectations. Lorenzo and Emily were the absolute BEST! They were there whenever I needed them and helped me with everything. Any time I had a question or fear, they knew exactly where to go or who to ask. They have the best recommendations in the Riviera Maya and helped me bring my vision to life. From venue to flowers, DJ to photographer, they knew who to contact. And on the day of the wedding, they were there the entire time, supporting me and my family from start to finish. I felt like I had known them for years. Emily is absolutely amazing, she is such a calming presence and you feel like she is your best friend! She does not miss a detail and responds to you so, so quickly. I truly cannot recommend them enough. We got back from our wedding a week ago and are still on Cloud 9. I want to relive that day over and over again. Thank you Pride Maya Weddings for everything, we cannot wait to be back in Playa del Carmen to celebrate our anniversary!

I previously wrote a review about my horrific experience working with Lupita but somehow the review was deleted. I selected Lupita because she was more affordable and said she could deliver within my budget. What transpired was a very transactional experience. Nothing was curated to who I was and what I wanted. It was a series of filling out questionnaires and no phone conversations to get to know me. Lupita showed up to the first design meeting with a proposal but we didn’t have any conversations and if she read the questionnaire I said I did not want an all white wedding and I listed the colors but her proposal was neutral colors and ivory linens. That was the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted a black greenhouse tent with vintage Hollywood aesthetics and she told me she could get the tent but the second mock up did not have the tent and she presented a structural design. There was so much that didn’t work about the design process for me and I think most brides getting married by the beach want a traditional beach inspired wedding but that was not my dream. What I learned is she struggles to create and design experiences outside of her toolbox. And she was very mean to me when I asked for more modifications. I was hoping we’d get closer to what I wanted but Lupita told me she only accounts for minor changes and essentially I needed to accept the proposal and I needed to pay. It was a lot of pressure to pay and send money but perhaps if she took the time to learn what I liked the whole experience could have been better. Including vendor selections. There was always so much pressure to do what they wanted me to do. They knew best. - like wanting me to pay 15K for a wedding photographer. They said I would never find a quality person for 4500 but I found someone phenomenal on my own for 4500. There was just a lot of not asking me what I cared about and where I wanted to spend money. They really stole away from my wedding being MY wedding and they made me feel bad for 9 months. We parted ways finally and I hired a more quality designer but it was worth every penny.and he was so kind. I’m so thankful because it was beautiful.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photography team for our wedding. The Cabo Studio team traveled all the way from Los Cabos to West Hollywood, California, to capture our destination wedding, and they exceeded every expectation. From the moment they arrived, they were incredibly professional, organized, and attentive to every detail. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured the most beautiful, genuine moments throughout our wedding day. Their dedication, talent, and positive energy made such a difference in our experience. Looking back at our photos, we are so grateful we chose them and brought them to California for our celebration. We highly recommend Cabo Studio to any couple looking for exceptional wedding photographers. It was absolutely worth having them be part of our destination wedding, and we will treasure these memories forever.

We had such a wonderful experience with this photographer! From the very beginning, they put so much care into making sure our photos were beautiful, natural, and captured the feel of the occasion perfectly. They have a real talent for making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and it absolutely shows in the final images. Our event ended up running behind schedule, and they could not have been more patient, accommodating, or professional. Instead of making us feel rushed, they remained flexible and kind throughout the entire experience. They also went the extra mile afterward to help with editing and make sure we were completely happy with our photos. Even one year later they are still going above and beyond to assist with editing the photos to preserve our memories. The combination of talent, professionalism, flexibility, and genuine kindness really sets this photographer apart. We ended up with gorgeous photographs and an equally positive experience working with them. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about both their work and their clients, I highly recommend booking them. We absolutely would again!

We got married in March 2025 at the Hilton All-Inclusive in Mexico, and working with Michael Cruz from SOS Planners was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, Michael was by our side every step of the way. We first visited Tulum and Playa del Carmen for a site visit in May 2024, and Michael thoughtfully guided us through several venues, helping us navigate a process that can easily feel overwhelming. Throughout the planning process—which took place almost entirely over WhatsApp, emails, and video calls—Michael was responsive, supportive, and always one step ahead. We were even able to visit Cancun with our parents a few months before the wedding for a tasting, but honestly, we would have felt completely comfortable planning everything remotely because of how seamless he made the experience. Planning a destination wedding is no small feat, especially one that blends cultures and includes multiple events—but Michael handled our Indian-Chinese fusion wedding with such creativity, care, and cultural sensitivity. He truly embraced both traditions and made sure every detail honored our heritage. Our celebration included a Haldi, Chinese Tea Ceremony/Welcome Party, a beachside wedding ceremony, a post-wedding traditional Indian thali brunch, and a reception—and each event was executed flawlessly. Even when unexpected challenges arose—like extreme wind that required a last-minute venue change for our welcome party—Michael calmly and efficiently worked with his team and the hotel to make the transition feel effortless. It’s this kind of professionalism and grace under pressure that makes Michael such an exceptional planner. During the wedding weekend itself, the SOS team was an incredible presence—always kind, thoughtful, and reassuring. I truly can’t imagine our wedding without them. Michael took the time to deeply understand our vision and somehow elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. From the décor to the logistics to the tiniest personal touches, his attention to detail and passion for creating meaningful moments were evident throughout. Regardless of the type of wedding, cultural background, or traditions involved, Michael truly listens and brings your unique vision to life. Our family and guests are still talking about how magical everything was—and my husband and I continue to reminisce about how special and joy-filled our wedding week turned out to be. If you're planning a destination wedding in Mexico and want someone who is thoughtful, talented, and deeply committed to making your dream a reality, Michael is your person. We are endlessly grateful to Michael and the SOS team for giving us the most incredible weekend of our lives.

Sina made our wedding more amazing than we could have even imagined. Living in the United States, we were worried about doing a destination wedding, but Sina helped us every step of the way. She was very patient and collaborative in helping us find the perfect vendors for our special day. Decoration is my passion and I’m a very particular person when it comes to how I want something to look, and Sina was more than patient and help create exactly what I had in my head in real life. She’s very organized And she helps make sure each vendor knows exactly what it is that you’re looking for. She’s also super sweet and as easy to talk to online as she is in person.
