The city streets of New York were the perfect backdrop for Roseann and Thomas’ classic wedding. The day began with a traditional ceremony at Church of the St. Paul of the Apostle, followed by a stunning urban photo shoot of the newlyweds and an elegant dinner reception at Locanda Verde. The whole affair was beautifully photographed by Joel & Justyna.
The Couple:
Roseann and Thomas
The Wedding:
Locanda Verde, New York, New York
The Inspiration:
Classic, simple, and very city-inspired. St Paul the Apostle was a clear choice for our ceremony because it served as my neighbor for many years. The church itself is a beautiful gothic revival. Our officiant, Father Paul Lostritto, a Franciscan priest is also a good friend of mine who I met through practicing yoga. As we took our photos, we wanted our guests to enjoy the views of the city, and thus, had hired a double-decker bus to give them a tour of the city.
The Moments:
My favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle with my father and meeting Thomas at the other end. Everyone was incredibly happy, excited, and loving. I walked down to my favorite song, Canon in D, a song I had played on the piano since the fourth grade.
