Don’t you just love a brilliant idea? The always creative Rebecca Stone from Santa Barbara’s Duet Weddings (another of our fabulous Junebug members) came up with an absolutely ingenious escort card display for this rustic farm wedding at the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse, and we are smitten. On her blog Rebecca describes the wedding’s design as “simple but thoughtful, rustic and vintage, mismatched and colorful, with a touch of country charm” and her escort card creation matched those qualities to a T.
To create this look, Rebecca collected vintage glass vases in varying shapes and sizes, filled them with single blooms from Modern Day Design, and tied on little tags bearing each guest’s name in calligraphy by Little Miss Press. The dozens and dozens of bottles were showcased on top of an antique desk (I love how they pulled out and used the middle drawer as a shelf!) and the whole thing made a spectacular piece of creative wedding decor. Like we said, simply brilliant! Thank you Rebecca!

This is such a charming idea. I have been collecting some bottles here and there. This blog gave me an idea how I can reuse them. We can also use this by the receving area of the wedding perhaps?
