This Vibrant Multicultural Wedding at Micklefield Hall Had 3 Beautiful Ceremonies

Mansi and Angus had always wanted to honor their cultural backgrounds at their wedding, so instead of having just one ceremony, the couple’s special day featured 3 multicultural ceremonies! Their Micklefield Hall wedding began with a stunning Hindu ceremony, then was followed by civil and Jewish ceremonies next to a gorgeous pond. We love how seamless Mansi’s style transitions from traditional Hindu attire Photographer Ann-Kathrin Koch captured every beautiful moment of Mansi and Angus’s wedding, including their vibrant floral details.

The Couple:

Mansi and Angus

The Wedding:

Micklefield Hall, London, England

Bharti of Soirella (Chucki as she is lovingly called) did a phenomenal job at dressing me up so that my hair and makeup could easily be changed from a traditional Indian to a look more suited for the civil ceremony. It was seamlessly done and I could not have asked for a better stylist.

We needed a venue that would accommodate our busy day – with three ceremonies, lunch and wedding breakfast. What we really wanted was a venue nestled in nature; Micklefield Hall ticked all the boxes. It is a beautiful venue and we could fit all three ceremonies at different places within the vicinity of the venue. We had the Hindu ceremony in a beautiful white marquee near the open fields, Civil and Jewish ceremony near the sweet pond and the reception in their gorgeous barn.

Most important to us during planning were presence of nature – open field, earth, fire, wood, water, leafy green trees and flowers, colour – lots of bright colours, and inclusion of our cultural backgrounds.

We could not have asked for a better day – glorious sunshine, beautiful green fields, all the ceremonies ran smoothly and so much love from family and friends everywhere.

Ann did an absolutely beautiful job at capturing everything through her amazing camera. We love all the fun and laughter snapped towards the end of the Hindu ceremony, where Angus and I had to play traditional games to find out who will wear the trousers in our married life! The pictures are absolutely fantastic and always make us laugh out loud!

We had the most phenomenal photographer – the best first decision we made planning the wedding. Ann-Kathrin Koch is absolutely amazing. She was sweet and supportive throughout the day, but even the lead up to the big day she made us feel comfortable. The entire process of working with her has been fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend checking her out. Ann and Kate (who supported her on the day) quickly mixed in with the crowds and snapped absolutely beautiful moments.

Do what feels right for you and your love. Take time out to just take everything in – it does fly by. I was able to enjoy my day by being mindful of every moments and soaking in all the love and smiles.
