We love when wedding images are just dripping with personality. Rebecca and Katy are a sentimental couple — Katy proposed with a song on guitar, if that tells you anything — so their Chicago wedding was filled with extra special moments from friends and family. Photographer Leah Moyers is passionate about capturing those little moments, making memories the couple can look back on forever.
The Couple:
Rebecca and Katy
The Wedding:
Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Chicago, Illinois
The Inspiration:
Our general theme for the wedding was a rustic elegance. For Rebecca‘s dress, she wanted something vintage inspired but modern. Katy‘s dress was tuxedo inspired.
The Moments:
One of my favorite moments was walking down the aisle and seeing all of my favorite people at once, surrounding us with love and good wishes. It felt like I was floating.
The Couple Recommends:
For Rebecca, one of the most special things of the wedding was having her veil and sash made from her Grandmother’s wedding dress- a custom commission by Hats by Angela Morano.
