The Inspiration: I would describe the inspiration as “rough luxe”. I wanted it to be rustic and warm, very nostalgic and rural without being too western or campy. I love the juxtaposition of weather materials like worn wood, weathered stone, pitted antler and bone with soft linen, burnished gold, and polished saddle leather. I love texture and nuance, and we wanted our wedding to be very lush and very environmental.
