This Wildly Gorgeous Modern Orange Wedding Inspiration Will Set Your Heart on Fire

August 24, 2019 | Junebug Weddings

With a repurposable ceremony backdrop of palm fronds, vibrant pops of coral, and retro tropical vibes for days, this cool and sophisticated wedding inspiration shoot from Love, Anneliese Photography is everything we love about the orange wedding trend! This gorgeous setup was made all the more captivating because of the bright and airy venue, Tavern on the Island, which allowed the colors to pop and the multidimensional decor to take center stage. We’re completely in love with the modern take on tropical elegance that Supposey Co. used for the floral design and literally can’t stop staring at the bride’s chic gown from Scout Bridal!

Organic Meets DIY in This South African Copper and Burgundy Wedding at The Grove

August 24, 2019 | Junebug Weddings

Lauren and Fred’s copper and burgundy wedding at The Grove was a DIY masterpiece! The couple brought in organic textures, pretty blooms designed by Blooming Pretty, greenery installations, and all the rustic details. They even paid homage to the groom’s career as a plumber by using copper piping to create signage and table numbers! The bride’s Anna Georgina was truly a sight to behold, giving off majorly sophisticated vibes while still looking effortless combined with a messy braided updo. We love every part of this South African wedding and are so grateful VinylRae Photography was there to capture it all!

This Moody Tropical Wedding at Acre Baja Plays Up the Gorgeous Natural Surroundings

August 23, 2019 | Junebug Weddings

You know we can’t get enough tropical vibes, which is why we’re crushing hard on Michelle and Brandon’s incredible wedding at Acre Baja. Their planner Lauren, from Amy Abbott Events, brought moody elegance to life with a dark palette, sophisticated details, and romantic lighting. Then the couple added their own personal twist with fireworks during the reception and fire dancers to entertain their guests! There were so many unforgettable moments throughout this day, and Biancca Wallace Photography captured them all brilliantly! Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to look through all these photos and watch the beautiful film from Smartline Productions again to pretend we’re on a beach in Mexico…

The Couple:

Michelle and Brandon

The Wedding:

Acre Baja, Cabo, Mexico

Taking care of our friends and family was paramount for us during the planning process. Because each person had to plan, spend, and travel for the wedding, we wanted them to have the best possible time. In doing that, our wedding ended up being a pause in time to remind ourselves how much we loved each other and how lucky we are to have our friends and family in our lives.

We have a home in Los Cabos and have been to Acre many times. We’re always blown away by how beautiful it is. We searched for a venue in California, but nothing was ever as perfect as Acre. One night, we emailed them to schedule a tour and booked it the day we visited. We couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else.

We wanted to disrupt the reception in some really unique way, so we had Lauren find fire dancers to surprise our guests. We didn’t tell anyone, so when the fire dancers came out and began performing, it took everyone a few seconds to realize what was happening. Our goal was always to entertain our guests, and watching them experience that was priceless.
