The Wedding: 09.04.12 – Villa Tuscany – destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy

What were the top three priorities for you in planning your wedding? To make our special day as beautiful and memorable as possible, while still having fun!

What wedding traditions or cultural traditions did you incorporated into your wedding and what did they mean to you? We chose to incorporate warming of the rings. This tradition happens when the bride and grooms rings are passed through the ceremony for each guest to hold the ring, and say a silent prayer/blessing/wish for your marriage.

What was your biggest wedding planning success? I would have to say actually pulling off the wedding in general! Planning a wedding can be difficult, but planning one out of the country in a place we had never been before was interesting to say the least. Looking back, it was pretty ambitious of a task but we couldn’t imagine it any other way.

What was the most important thing that you learned through the wedding planning process and what would you tell other brides-to-be? I know its cliche to say, but its true- enjoy every minute of it because it goes by so quickly! Even when things get hectic, its all part of the fun.
