We love celebrating the female body here at Junebug, and this ballet inspired boudoir shoot from Ash Imagery does exactly that. The delicate light filtering across this ballerina’s strong, feminine silhouette shows the photographer’s love and understanding of boudoir photography. Not only is the bride embracing her sexuality in this shoot, but she is also owning her dancer identity, which is just beautiful. Enjoy!

With a gorgeous venue and neutral color scheme, Bethany and Michael’s artsy mountain wedding was a day filled with simplistic elegance. The couple’s outdoor ceremony space was breathtaking, and the wedding party’s unique fashion, from the bride’s BHLDN gown to the mismatched bridesmaids’ dresses, made a stylish statement. Alison Vagnini did a fabulous job of photographing everything from the beautiful venue to the fun-loving reception.
The Inspiration: Living in Colorado, we really wanted to do a mountain wedding because we thought that it’d make for the best time for all of our friends, family and especially for our out of town guests. Because the mountains were really the backdrop for the wedding, we wanted to keep things simple, elegant and natural to keep the focus on the scenery. We stuck with a neutral color palette and clean lines, which kept things feeling natural, and when it came to flowers and decorating the tent, I chose to keep most everything white because it’s classic and easy to match across differing pieces of decor.
