Rustic Spanish Wedding at Mas Terrats

August 16, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Rustic-Spanish-Wedding-at-Mas-Terrats (26 of 45)

With its historic stone walls, the Vilabertran Church in Pontós, Spain served as a romantic ceremony venue for Luis and Laia. Their emotional wedding was just as gorgeous as it was heart-warming. The bride wore a simple, off-white, light pink, and ivory floral headpiece and an exquisite, log-sleeved bohemian gown. Their meaningful, tear-evoking ceremony moved into a cozy, intimate reception at Mas Terrats. The photographers at Sublim perfectly captured the incredible new moments this couple spent as husband and wife.

The Couple:

Luis and Laia

The Wedding:

Mas Terrats, Pontós, Spain

The Inspiration:

It was a rustic-vintage wedding.

Vintage New Orleans Wedding at Audubon Park

August 16, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Vintage-New-Orleans-Wedding-at-Audubon-Park (18 of 31)

A gorgeous, classic wedding in a richly cultured, urban city leaves Trevor and Alexis with absolutely stunning wedding photos. The bridesmaids wore simple black gowns, which allowed all eyes to be focused on the honored couple. They looked classically elegant with his royal blue tux and her white laced gown. With unique willow trees, Audubon Park in New Orleans, Louisiana was the perfect place for their romantic ceremony. On their way to the classic New Orleans reception at House of Blues, the couple and wedding party participated in a Second Line Parade, which included an awesome brass band. Documenting memories that will last a lifetime, photographer Jesse David Green captured the couple on their big day!

Trevor and Alexis

The Wedding:

The Moments:

Second-line through the French Quarter takes the cake. The ceremony and dinner were over and a brass band paraded us to the bar for dancing. Trevor and I danced in front of our family and friends the whole way and we were sweaty messes by the time we had arrived, but we had never been happier in our lives.

The Couple Recommends:

Jesse was the absolute best. He really gets to know you and your wedding pictures feel personal instead of the same old pictures that everyone has. Also, having people in your bridal suite is a really intimate thing (which I hadn’t even considered) so you want to like your photographer (not a problem for us because we love Jesse). All of my friends wanted to use him for their weddings afterwards. ATTB was so good. Not at all cheesy and nailed every song. They’re also part of the party and not just a cover band going through the motions. Mint Julep Productions really pulled the whole day together. I really procrastinated on a lot of stuff (slash had not thought about it at all). I contacted MJP pretty late in the game and they worked wonders and, most importantly, kept their cool (and made everyone else keep their cool) when things were not working out (e.g. intense heat for rehearsal, raining on wedding day, traffic jam and late for dinner, late for second-line and they almost left, etc. etc.). They did such a great job we didn’t even notice anything.
