An elegant beach wedding in Southern California is exactly the pick-me-up we needed this afternoon! Lindsey and Michael’s airy ceremony overlooked the waves kissing the sandy shoreline outside of The Ritz Carlton Dana Point. No beach wedding would be complete without a barefoot walk as newlyweds in the golden sunset, and the images Cami Jane Photography captured are simply breathtaking!

The Inspiration:

Simple & Happy. With so many people travelling for our wedding from New York to New Zealand and many places in between, we did not want the décor to overshadow the pure happiness and excitement we were able to share with so many special people. I wanted everything to be happy, simple, and organic…with such a beautiful location, it doesn’t need much. Just enjoy the view!! For my dress, I had it custom made by a tailor in New York. I wanted classic, simple lines and a low back…it turned out to be perfect and accented by sparkle flats. For the boys, black suits and a fern boutonniere. For the bridesmaids, neutral dress accented by pops of floral colors. On the day of, each of the girls decided to add a braid to their hair and small flower!

The Moments:

My absolute favorite moment was during our ceremony, standing with my husband and sharing that moment with so many people we love. With everyone living across the world, we truly appreciated that it was a once in a lifetime moment having everyone together. In addition, our amazing family member Dinesh was our officiant. He wrote an incredibly special and personal wedding ceremony that had us laughing / smiling at every moment and truly touched our hearts.
