Villa Bichi Borghesi in Tuscany set the scene for this Italian garden styled photo shoot. From overgrown wisteria to garden-picked bouquets, every detail of the shoot portrays the incredible beauty of Italy. Two brides are shown wearing simple silk dresses that are perfect for the light and airy feel of the garden setting.

Here’s what photographer Rebecca Silenzi had to say about the inspiration behind the shoot:

The beautiful Italian garden is a perfect and idyllic spot for hosting an outdoor wedding reception in Tuscany during the spring surrounded by olive trees, majestic magnolias, roses and irises in the background. A few corners of the Villa that we have chosen as the backdrop for the style shoot are completely covered with wisteria. Our lovely bridal bouquet has been made using all the flowers we found in the garden — wild flowers, rosemary, artichokes, red salad, green hortensias all chosen to bring out the shades of marsala, carta da zucchero and green sage tones.

Natalia Sorokina-Music did the table settings using crystal glasses, silver carved cutlery, marsala and carta da zucchero decorative lace elements which goes so well with the bridal bouquet, adorned with rosemary, wild flowers, grapes and olive branches. We used the rustic table and a couple of antic garden side tables as a setting for the cake and the guests.

Gorgeous Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel Wedding

July 14, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

rachael schirano photography - jacquline patrick 0093

On a cool fall day in Illinois, Jacqueline and Patrick tied the knot among changing leaves and their friends and family. The pastel color palette created a soft and romantic look for the day, just as Jacqueline had envisioned. The family-centered wedding included so many sweet moments between the couple and their loved ones, from the bride sharing a warm smile with her father before they walked down the aisle to the 14-person head table that seated each member of the bride and groom’s family.

The Couple:

Jacqueline and Patrick

The Wedding:

Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel, Normal, Illinois

The Inspiration:

After the reality set in that we were going to get married, we quickly decided that we wanted to get married in our hometown the following fall, such a cozy time of year. All I could vision was a romantic day — filled with the natural fall beauty, delicate flowers, candlelight, and colors like soft whites, ivories, golds, peaches, pinks, and blues.

The Moments:

Instead of a head table filled with our bridal party, we chose to have a family table that seated both of our families (all 14 of us!). I will never forget sitting at that table — all of us together and so happy. I couldn’t stop thinking about how grateful I was, and will always be, for our families. We couldn’t have been any happier. We were together and surrounded by the people we love the most.

Another very special and favorite moment from our wedding day was my Dad and I doing our father/daughter choreographed dance to ‘My Girl’ by the Temptations. We were both so nervous, and we even it practiced it in the church basement before walking down the aisle! It is a memory that we will never forget.

The Couple Recommends:

Sentimental Handmade Orange County Wedding

July 13, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Sentimental-Handmade-Orange-County-Wedding-Cami-Jane-Photography (33 of 43)

Sheryl and Trevor’s wedding put all the best parts of their relationship on display: their incredible sense of faith, their connection to nature, the great support of their friends and family, and of course their impossibly deep love for each other. Cami Jane Photography captured some of the most moving images we’ve seen — seriously, grab your tissues! — from their intimate first look in the library to Trevor’s reaction to seeing Sheryl walk down the aisle. From worshiping in a church to dancing the night away in their friend’s backyard, every moment of Sheryl and Trevor’s Orange County wedding was as sentimental as could be.

The Couple:

Sheryl and Trevor

The Wedding:

Reverence Bible Church, Orange County, California

The Inspiration:

I’m not sure how to describe this. I wanted something that was low stress, that I wouldn’t have to worry about, but that would somehow look something like a garden fairy land. But more than any decor or fashion, Trevor and I wanted our wedding to glorify our God. Amazingly, I think we got everything we asked for. I told people that I love flowers, that I like simplicity, and that I don’t want there to be stress over the little things. Overall, our inspiration came from a heart of wanting to make the day less about the “show” and more about the message.

My dress was my mom’s remade; my flower crown was made by our dear friend Angela; the bouquets and centerpieces were made by friends who love to work with flowers (and who love to serve); everything that was part of our day was contributed to by people we know and love. I can’t say I had a clear plan of what I wanted everything to look like, but I think that helped make it what it was. Each person that helped was given some creative license. So, I’m not sure we had any clear inspiration directed at decor theme and fashion–we just wanted it to be joyful and Christ exalting. All the rest just fell into place.

The Moments:

We both loved when we worshiped together. After saying our vows and taking communion, we had our friend Matt lead worship to two of our favorite songs. Starting marriage off with being reminded of the love of Christ and his sacrifice is indescribable, and having that reminder through worship with your brothers and sisters in Christ is something wonderful.
