This positively dreamy botanical wedding and bridal inspiration came to Karley Parker of Scenemakers in a dream. Soft citrus-colored petals, overgrown greenery, a variety of decadent cakes and sweets, and a ethereal bridal styling right out of the garden.
Here’s a little insight into Karley’s vision:
I saw a bride with a hat and veil on, as a beekeeper would wear, and this became the core of my design for this shoot, Beekeeper Bride. As honey bees circling around their queen we took in our natural surroundings of the garden, waited for the clouds, shot in the rain and ventured inside the mansion with a warm light, golden as honey. The beekeeper bride is one that sees those microscopic details that can so often be missed; the freckle of a foxglove, the way the light reflects off warm caramel, the soft hue of a tulip that almost resembles flesh. She keeps things simple, light & fresh.
We’re just overwhelmed with visions of garden fresh roses and desserts too pretty to eat! A special thanks to Scenemakers for sending this gorgeous shoot our way! Be sure to check out this ethereal bridal inspiration for more stunning ideas for your big day.
We seriously adore the autumn vibes in Jennifer and Cash’s chic Tennessee wedding at The Emporium Center of Arts & Culture, especially the deep reds and overgrown greenery throughout the décor. Photographer Dixie Pixel captured the most romantic moments of the newlyweds walking through the brick streets of downtown Knoxville. As if the glittering gold tablecloths and ghost chairs weren’t enough, this glamorous wedding was taken up a notch by Jennifer’s incredible fitted Oscar de la Renta gown.
I was never the girl that grew up dreaming of my wedding day- or dress for that matter! I knew it would just be a reflection of who I was and who my future husband would be at that time in our lives; it would simply reflect us both. We liked the idea of our overall feel to be a simple elegance — a timeless, yet chic look. And the dress proved to set the tone while in the early planning stages. I had traveled to Nashville with my mom and twin sister a couple of weeks after Cash proposed to begin the dress search. I knew I wanted something timeless-something that was more ‘red-carpet’ worthy than your typical wedding attire, but that also remained chic and minimal. The Oscar de la Renta dress was the very first dress I tried on. I knew immediately it was the one. Pulling from the aesthetic of the dress and Cash‘s slim, tailored light navy colored suit, and with a January wedding date, the decor came together from there. With votive-lined tables and warm Merlot colored florals with rich greens and champagnes and a bit of sparkle among the art-lined walls of our venue, our cocktail hour and reception had a mix of simple and chic with a relaxed, dinner party fee. (With amazing live music of course!)
The Moments:
Our favorite moment really can’t be singularly described! It was the entire wedding weekend. From the rehearsal dinner at one of our favorite local spots — the fabulous Five Bar Knoxville, to having my priest from back home fly in to marry Cash & I, to dancing the night away at the reception and afterwards — having our families and friends all traveling from out-of-state and from all over the country in town and meeting for the first time was wonderful to be a part of! We loved celebrating with all of them- laughing and having a great time together!

I must say, we picked an incredible group of wedding professionals. I was amazed at how seamlessly they all worked together to make the day come to fruition the way it did — true perfection in our eyes! From the amazing artistry and vision of Tara our photographer, (the same for our cinematographers — Nathan and Spencer at Milestone-a every last minute addition by Cash and I!) to the fantastic execution of my design scheme and feel of the reception by Angie, the day was flawless. Bradford went above and beyond our expectations with catering. The dinner and especially the cocktail hour hor d’oeuvres they created just for us were a big hit. Sam and his amazing team captured my vision for the florals so perfectly — even helping with setup! Last but not least, The Downtown Band from Nashville, TN was unbelievable. From the ceremony music to the cocktail hour to the many hours on the dance floor, our guests were wowed (and dancing all night)! Justin and his band were incredibly entertaining- our friends and family are STILL talking about them — 2 months later! Cash and I are trying to find another excuse to hire them!
Congrats to Jennifer and Cash on their stylish Tennessee wedding! For more of Dixie Pixel‘s romantic wedding photography, check out Sarah and Jeremy’s blackberry farm wedding.
From a handful of giant pink balloons to a Hayley Paige ballgown, every inch of Lazian and Saman’s wedding is a delight to see. The Swedish wedding in the countryside took place at a private mansion by the lake, making for a quiet and romantic getaway for the newlyweds and their guests. Stina Kase Photography captured the dreamiest portraits of the couple as the sun set over the lake in a swirl of pink that perfectly matched the pretty wedding décor.

The Inspiration:
It was a warm day in Stockholm and we had gathered friends and family in the beautiful garden. We said our vows under the two trees infront of the water surrounded by our closest family and friends. The day was filled with laughter and love. We chose soft natural colors that would melt in with the overall environment, soft pink, champagne and gold. The decor was fun and simple and we had the reception in a old stable house.
The Moments:
Having all of our friends and family that live all over the world gathered in Sweden to celebrate our day with us was very special feeling and a memory we will always cherish. We were very grateful and happy to see everyone enjoying themselves especially right after the ceremony when we were all mingling in the garden.

Our talented photographer Stina Kase captured the full story of our day and took breathtaking photos of the whole wedding. She captured the day just the was it was and we are forever grateful for the beautiful photos that we received of our special day.
Our wedding planner Janet Robertson from Scarlett Weddings made our day possible. We would never have been able to plan the wedding without her and she was with us the whole day and made sure that the whole day went by smoothly.
