In honor of Friday being the most epic day of the week, we bring you this ultra-epic engagement session in Rocky Mountain National Park! Lois and Adam went the distance for their engagement photos with Boris Zaretsky Photography, committing to climbing to the top of a rock formation to ensure they got the shot. The thrilling images are filled with incredible scenery with the color of the setting sun in the distance, as well as a deep emotional connection between the soon-to-be newlyweds celebrating their love in a big way.
Juxtaposing feminine florals with the industrial look of brick walls and urban settings has been one of our favorite wedding styles of 2015, and Claire and Stefan’s Brooklyn Winery wedding gets it just right. The couple envisioned an intimate dinner party with friends for their big day, and the venue lent itself gorgeously to their vision. Khaki Bedford Photography captured the warmth and comfort surrounding Claire and Stefan’s Brooklyn wedding, as well as the many thoughtful details that made every inch unique to the newlyweds’ style.
The Brooklyn Winery is such an amazing venue and took care of the decor/feel just by being itself. We really wanted the day to feel like one big intimate family dinner, with everyone coming to our backyard just to be together and celebrate love.
The Moments:
The whole ceremony. We wrote the whole thing ourselves (with help from the Internet), and it was nice to have a ceremony that came from the heart and felt really organic.
The Couple Recommends:
DEFINITELY Khaki. She was so much fun and easy to be around (it can feel awkward with a camera around all the time!). She did a great job of blending into the background when she needed to do we didn’t even notice her and then directing us when necessary. Plus she is so fun and nice on top of being so professional!
We dare you to scroll through this wedding without cracking a smile. Ida and Olle are just the sweetest couple, and it’s impossible not to grin looking at the newlyweds in utter bliss on their wedding day! The Swedish barn wedding balanced rustic and whimsy by utilizing wildflowers, homemade dishes, and twinkle lights delicately concealed by translucent curtains. Photographer Agnes Stenlund captured couple’s effervescent personalities in every image, and we know the couple will look back on their fairy tale wedding day with the same precious smiles.
The wedding was in a barn, and it felt natural to have the decor in a old country style.
The Moments:
The moment we walked in to the church, to see all the family and friends who came to participate on our very special day. Our expectations were so high, but the reality was even better.
A big thanks to Ida and Olle for sharing their barn wedding with Junebug! If this couple looks familiar to you, it’s because we published their gritty Swedish engagement in Stockholm, also by Agnes Stenlund. Be sure to check it out!
