Creative couple Natalie and Davey’s Scottish engagement photos are bohemian perfection, from stylish seventies-inspired outfits to wind-blown hair and sun-kissed skin. The pair set out for an adventure in Fife, Scotland where they inspired photographer Mark Pacura to capture the beauty of their love and the natural surroundings with extraordinary artistry.
Congrats to Natalie and Davey on their upcoming nuptials! For more of Mark Pacura’s exquisite photography, be sure to check out Susan and Darren’s DIY nature inspired wedding in Scotland.
One stunning lace halter gown, one charming rustic venue, and one incredible Australian sunset were just a few of the showstoppers in Leonie and Sam’s exquisite Learmonth, Victoria wedding. Luckily, the couple enlisted photographer Jim Pollard to capture the exceptional beauty of their day and all of the personal moments that made it so special. If you had any doubt that a field of wind turbines could be romantic, allow Leonie and Sam’s wedding portraits to change your mind!
When we decided to have the wedding reception at Sam‘s aunty & uncle’s ‘Art Hall’ (a slightly run down timber hall in rural Victoria, Australia) — that really set the tone for the wedding. It was a pretty rustic with lots of timber, native Australian flowers and lace!
The Moments:
It was all so great and flew by so quickly. I couldn’t pin point a moment, there were just so many! However, I have to say driving down the road (very slowly if course) in a convertible valiant with the entire bridal party was pretty amazing!!

Tori from Cafe 321 was so easy to work with and, of course, have you seen our photos!? Jim Pollard is one super talented guy, as well as being so easy to work with. We were absolutely stoked with our pics!
A special thanks to Leonie and Sam for sharing their rustic Australian wedding with Junebug! For more of Jim Pollard goes click‘s stellar wedding photography, check out Emma and Keith’s epic New Zealand wedding.
Architects Daniel and Geraldine chose the magnificent Pousada Mosteiro de Amares in Portugal for their romantic wedding. The highly detailed venue was the center point for their wedding design. The bride wore a beautifully untraditional, two-piece gown by designer Mira Zwillinger. This outdoor Portuguese wedding was full of laughter and smiles, and Luis Efigénio Photography perfectly captured every minute of it!
For us the venue was just so incredibly beautiful that we didn’t really need to put much effort into decorations or any ‘theme.’ It was an old monastery refurbished by the famous Portuguese Architect Eduardo Souto de Moura whose work we both really admire. The attention to detail in the building is flawless. Dresswise we wanted everyone to be relaxed and wear what they felt most comfortable with. The flowers were all made by my Mum and Aunts and we used what was available locally at the time. We had cork inspired favours (as Portgual is renowned for it) and some special mauritian shortbread cakes my family made for us.
The Moments:
Everything?! What was real special was that everyone made an enormous effort to come out to Portugal for the weekend and took the opportunity to have a summer holidays out of it. It meant we managed to catch up a little with everyone throughout the week which made the wedding day that more relaxed! Also the coming together of 2 very different cultures to celebrate our day.
The Couple Recommends:
Everyone was amazing on the day, the brass band, our photographers Luis and Isabel and the Pousada manager Graca whom without we would not have been able to have organised such an amazing day from abroad!
