Like two oars in a little rowboat, Chrissy and Anthony are a perfect pair. The soon-to-be newlyweds set out for a romantic afternoon of boating as Modern Wedding Photography captured their Central Park engagement photos. We love how relaxed and in love the couple look in each image, even stealing a few bites of popcorn and a kiss at the end of the photo shoot!
Nichole and Mike’s Toronto wedding at Auberge du Pommier was impossibly charming, exactly as they envisioned it. The couple began their day by dressing together in lieu of an official first look. After an intimate patio ceremony, the newlyweds spent their first moments together as husband and wife embracing in the golden sunshine and greenery surrounding the venue, Ash Nayler Photography capturing every sweet moment. Speaking of sweets, guests were treated to a tower of pastel macarons for dessert before dancing the night away.
Subtle luxury. We wanted it to feel romantic and charming but not opulent.
The Moments:
It was during the ceremony. Seeing everyone we loved gathered together in one spot for us felt pretty special. They all looked so happy for us and it warmed our heart to be able to express our love to each other in front of everyone.
The Couple Recommends:
Our photographer Ash Nayler did a fabulous job! She was so stealthy that I didn’t even realize she was taking pictures throughout the night. The quality of her work is the best I’ve seen.
Our officiant Sarah Bunnett-Gibson was an absolute dream. She wrote a wonderfully personal service for us based on our love story. It was absolutely perfect. Also, our live band, Brent Miller Band, couldn’t have done a better job. Our guests loved the music and they were fun and professional to work with. Our dessert table from Delysees Bakery looked gorgeous and tasted just as good! Their eclairs and macarons didn’t stick around for long.
Lastly, the service, food and planning at Auberge to Pommier was top shelf. Our guests still talk about the food, and they made sure things went smoothly throughout the night.
A blush and champagne color palette designed by Kerri Leigh Events made for a classic and romantic scene at Wendy and Kris’ North Carolina wedding. The affair took place at the elegant Graylyn Estate, where the couple exchanged vows in a courtyard ceremony. Vesic Photography beautifully captured the emotion-filled day with each tender moment and carefully curated detail.
We wanted our guests to leave our wedding feeling as if they were apart of something special. We chose a classic color palette. We kept everything light with blush, ivory and champagne hues. I would describe our style inspiration as classic with vintage elements.
The Moments:
Kris: My favorite moment from the wedding was seeing Wendy for the first time. Wendy prerecorded a message to me that was played before she came out. It took an already emotional moment to a whole new level.
Wendy: Aside from the feeling I had when we were announced husband and wife, I’d say my favorite moment was when I reminded myself to take it all in. I’ve never seen our families so happy.
