When your ceremony backdrop is as magnificent as Lake Como, the rest of your wedding doesn’t require much in the way of décor. Chloé and Ben’s Villa Regina Teodolinda destination wedding was perfectly understated, focusing on a few beautiful details to enhance the already-incredible natural landscape. Chloé wore a precious two-piece gown and a crown of leaves, the latter subtly corresponding with the greenery in their reception design by JCG Events. Cinzia Bruschini captured the sweet, quiet moments shared between the newlyweds and their guests, as well as a first dance in the pouring rain!

Our goal was to create an intimate atmosphere infused with a sense of adventure. In order to achieve this, we sought out a beautiful location for a small wedding in a unique international location. Having a wedding in Italy was an adventure in its own right, but the experiences that all the guests had prior to arriving at the wedding, or had planned for after the Big Day, created wonderful positive energy and a bonding experience for our friends and family in attendance.
Our wedding reception flowed from indoors to out. Immediately after the outdoor ceremony, we were blessed with a downpour of rain. The rain provided a beautiful backdrop as we looked outside from the dining table. For the first dance, we grabbed umbrellas with the guests and headed outside to dance with the rain falling around us. It was magical.
